Amazing experience!!

Amazing experience! Blake was absolutely fabulous!! We were so fortunate to have him for our tour guide! He went the extra mile to ensure we saw a huge variety of wildlife: pronghorn, coyote, bison (tons of bison), and a variety of birds! Blake went out of his way to answer all of our questions, teach us all about the island, take pictures for us, and just make it a great experience! We saw a magnificent sunset at Lady Finger Point. Lots of great information about the history of the area, including Salt Lake City. He offered excellent ideas for restaurants and other attractions in the city!! We would recommend this tour to any first timers to the area!

Nice way to get out on...

Nice way to get out on the lake for some additional beautiful views. You’ll also learn a bit about the lake ecosystem and history. The trip is on a comfortable pontoon boat and our guide was knowledgeable and entertaining. If you don’t have a car and take an uber to the park, I would recommend reserving your pickup in advance as it is a remote location. We were fortunate to go on a beautiful, cool weather day, so flies were not an issue.

My 13 year old son and I took this excursion. Dima was an excellent Antelope Island tour guide. He is a wealth of knowledge on the history of Salt Lake City and the unique ecosystem of the island. He is also amazing at spotting animals, going above and beyond for our group. A porcupine was crossing the road and ran into high grass and brush. Dima tracked it all the way to an upper tree limb so we could get a look at it. In the process, he also spotted a Great Horned Owl! We had no issues finding bison and got a bunch of pictures of them. The tour also included time at Fielding Garr Ranch, a beautiful lookout point where he took pictures of us on the rocks, and ended with a sunset climb to a high point overlooking the salt lake. I highly recommend! I have read comments from other guests about the climb up to the sunset view point and its difficulty. I would say it falls in the moderate category. There is a section when you are almost to the top that is steeper than the rest. The trail is rocky which was to be expected. If you have limitations there are other areas to watch the sunset and you can still see 50-60% of it without making the hardest part of the climb.

Great tour!

Great tour! We had booked with another company who cancelled on us last minute & then found this one which really worked out for the best. Our tour guide was Logan and he was fabulous- informative, conversational and kept the tour moving. Nature didn’t completely cooperate today, so the flats were flooded, but it was still amazing and we got some great photos. Because we couldn’t walk on the flats, we had extra time, so Logan took us to the nearby historic airstrip which was a good pivot. Van was comfortable & pickup was timely. Had a great time!

We took the Great Salt Lake Safari-Discover Antelope Island on 10/13/2026. It was Great!!!! Our guide Sinéad was a great conversationalist and very knowledgeable about the history of the island and its wildlife. The tour vehicle was very comfortable and we were provided binoculars throughout the tour. We saw a variety of wildlife including bison, pronghorns, and many different species of birds, including a golden eagle! We highly recommend!

Fabulous small group tour. Driver and guide Dima was very knowledgeable Trip included a short hike to view salt flats from above before we drove to end of road to view sunset. Sunset was beautiful as due to recent storm the salt flats were covered in water and reflections made stunning pictures. Comfort breaks when required. Lots of water and choice of snacks to suit all ages. Dima couldn’t do any more to make trip memorable, thank you

Fun Birthday Date

Even though I thought this was on the expensive side, my 12 year old granddaughter and I had a great time. She wasn't too interested in all the pictures on the walls, but enjoyed the activities. She loved the vortex (went through 4 times!) and anything to do with mirrors. We both took tons of pictures and laughed at all our funny poses. It was a terrific place to take her on a birthday date!

Our guide was very knowledgeable. The sites we saw were impressive. There were three stops where we could get off the bus to explore & have a bathroom break. Really nice.

Incredible Wildlife Experience with an Exceptional Guide!

This trip to Antelope Island was an absolutely amazing experience! The island itself is stunning, and we also enjoyed the visit to the historical ranch. The wildlife viewing was phenomenal—we were lucky enough to see bison, antelope, owls, and several mule deer. Our guide, Dima, was fantastic. He has an impressive depth of knowledge about Utah, Salt Lake City, the local history and natural environment, and he went out of his way to make sure we maximized every single wildlife encounter. A major highlight was spotting a mule deer with a beautiful sunflower caught right on its antlers! Dima truly went above and beyond for our group. Even after we had already spent more time on the island than the scheduled tour allowed, we spotted a bison hanging out by the Antelope Island sign, Dima didn't hesitate to pull the van over so we could get a close look and capture some wonderful photos. I highly recommend this experience to anyone and will definitely be booking another tour with Dima in the future!

Beautiful, adventure and education all in one night

I was looking for a guided tour that would allow me to experience the beauty of Northern Utah's mountains while staying in Salt Lake City, and this was exactly what I was hoping to find. It was the perfect way to spend a few hours in the evening exploring nature, learning about the area's natural history, and getting up close to some truly beautiful wildlife. The entire experience was thoughtfully planned and well organized. Sarah was outstanding from start to finish. Her communication before the tour was excellent, and throughout the experience she was kind, knowledgeable, and attentive. She made everyone feel safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for.
