This trip was exactly what we were looking for— round trip from Lisbon to Obidos, Nazare and Porto back to Lisbon. Not all the trips we saw brought you back to Lisbon. Our guide, Joaol, aka “Johnny” was a wealth of information. He gave us a lot of information about the history of Portugal and provided information about each site we stopped at. We were able to spend some time on our own at each stop to explore and/or shop. Bring euros because not all the shops or restaurants take credit cards. We opted for the upgrade with lunch. Joaol took us to a nice restaurant where we had authentic Portuguese food that was delicious and plentiful. Alex, our bus driver, was great. He got us to each destination safely. (NOt always an easy feat, as some of streets were not built for a big tour bus.) The bus was air conditioned and very comfortable and smooth. It has free WiFi and plugs to recharge our phones.

Excellent tuktuk tour

Our guide was Juno. He did a great job. He was easy to understand, provided a great deal of information and was quite friendly. We covered the highlights of Lisbon in 4 hours. Juno was flexible and asked where we wanted stop and where a pass by was ok. It was an excellent experience!

Wow! Amazing in depth Sintra experience! Totally worth it!

We really enjoyed our day in Sintra! Antonio was a fantastic guide and managed our time and day superbly. We never felt rushed visiting the many sites included in this tour. The sights we were able to experience included the town of Sintra, the Initiation Well, Pena Palace, Quinta da Regaleira, Cabo da Roca, and Praia Grande. The itinerary of this tour won us over and it did not disappoint! In between stops Antonio spoke the history of many of the places we were visiting. More importantly, Antonio also played some Fado music as we were driving, interpreting the music along the way to help us get a better understanding of some the the cultural themes Fado music often sings about. All in all, this is a great tour if you are looking for a full, in depth experience of the Sintra area. Please remember you can customize your day which is a fantastic opportunity to organize the day to your liking and preferences. It was great not having to coordinate the time and transportation between all the stops. At the end of the tour Antonio brought us back to our hotel in Lisbon. This tour makes your day in Sintra as efficient as possible so you can enjoy your time. Antonio's time management was superb and we never felt rushed at any of the sites. This tour is totally worth it and cant recommend it enough!

Magnificent, top-notch organization. Our guide Edouarda was pleasant, competent, and extremely available for our group... Attention, following a change in legislation, you must plan for 3.60 euros to take the city bus to Quinta. Any other bus can no longer go into the city... a very good time...

Fantastic tour

We felt very safe with our bus driver Rajshahi. Our guide Rita was amazing! She was personable and knowledgeable. She greeted and spent time with each guest. It was a full day, lots of walking uphill, free time to explore and beautiful sights. We felt this was well worth the time and money!

Fantastic day out

A great day trip from Lisbon!

This is a full day tour worth every penny! The hotel pick up was worth while for us as it was so convenient to just walk out of our hotel. Patrik was an amazing and obviously passionate guide who took great care of our group. The local family-owned restaurant where we had lunch was just delightful & delicious! I would highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in a day trip from Lisbon.

We had an exceptional experience with Meridian4People's services and with our guide/driver Leo Gonçalves! Leo was excellent, from the pickup at our hotel in Lisbon to the final destination at our hotel in Porto! We made 4 stops on the way, in Óbidos, Nazaré, Fátima Sanctuary, Aveiro, and Leo gave us 2 additional surprises that we loved, stopping at the house where the three little shepherds lived and in Costa Nova. Leo was kind, brought a lot of information about the itineraries in the right measure. We recommend the company and especially Leo for all his attention, knowledge about the itineraries, ease of communication, and excellent direction. It was a wonderful trip. Our guide, Ömer Faruk Keçeci, had excellent planning, explanations, and communication skills. It was great to both travel and listen to the history. It was particularly wonderful to experience how the climate suddenly changed at Pena Palace, the harmony of history and nature, and the colorful architecture of Portugal.

Our tour with Nuno was...

Our tour with Nuno was great!! He is knowledgeable, very friendly & personable! When we mentioned that we were driving to Porto, he even gave us some restaurant tips along the way, as well as some recommendations in Lisbon! The Pena Palace was beautiful & we got there before the crowds. Nuno recommended skipping the inside of the palace since only 4-5 rooms inside are open to the public and the wait time to get inside is very long. He dropped us off in the town of Sintra, recommended a pastry shop & told us to take some time shopping. We didn’t feel rushed at all!
