Spend the money and take this tour.
This was a great tour. Tim was funny, knowledgeable about Alaskan history and culture. He went above and beyond to make sure we had a great tour. Loved the stop for lunch!! Crepes were absolutely amazing! I would highly recommend Caribou Tours. Spend the money and take this tour.

We had a wonderful time. ...
We had a wonderful time. This tour was a great experience that allowed us to see lots of things. We enjoyed the small group. We especially enjoyed driving through the tunnel to Whittier on the train track, seeing glaciers and seeing all the wildlife. Mark was a wonderful tour guide and was very committed to making the most of the tour. We highly recommend this tour.

West Coast Road Runners at Trains, Wildlife, Rafts, Glaciers and Icebergs.
A super, fun-filled day with amazing sights. Went with a group of 8 people and we had a blast. Jess was our guide/captain and she was awesome. Bring binoculars, there may be some interesting things to see in the distance. Bring a spare battery pack for your phone or camera, because you'll take a lot of photos and videos. You will get a little wet on the long raft-ride, but it's totally worth it.

The hike on the Matanuska...
The hike on the Matanuska Glacier was super fun. The two guides (Emory and Dominic) who took us were very knowledgeable and helpful when we had to cross a few truckier spots. The views are amazing but it is an active hike - not for anyone unsteady on their feet. The drive out there was beautiful and we had a fantastic driver - Rexy - who was professional, friendly and offered lots of great information and history of the area. All in all, it was a really great excursion and I would highly recommend making it part of your trip to this area of Alaska

We had a fabulous tour...
We had a fabulous tour with Patrick and would highly recommend this tour to others visiting Anchorage. We were a group of six, including teenagers and seniors and this tour was enjoyed by all. Patrick was incredibly knowledgeable and shared history and information on the history of Anchorage,Turnagain Inlet and the many glaciers we saw. We really loved the photo taking tutorial which helped improve the quality of the many pictures we took. We really appreciated that Patrick did not rush us and gave us ample time to explore and take pictures at each stop. The wildlife center was also enjoyed by all. Overall a wonderful tour!

This tour is worth every penny!
This is the BEST tour I have booked on Viator so far! David is a wonderful tour guide, full of information about Alaska that keeps you interested and engaged. The weather today was great so the sights were amazing. David's knowledge of the area and history was complimentary. Just an overall great day.

This was our first visit...
This was our first visit to Alaska and I'm so glad we found this trolley tour in downtown near our hotel! The trolley itself is quaint with windows all around so you could see almost everything from any seat.
Our tour guide was Ace and he was so knowledgeable about the area and passionate about the city's history. His humor kept our attention the whole time and I really appreciate a guide who knows how to keep their audience engaged.
I highly recommend taking this kind of tour around the city. Whenever we come back, we'll do it again!

Perfect day!
This hike was perfect! I ended up being the only person signed up so paid the extra for a private guided hike. The guide, Todd, was super knowledgeable and shared a lot of knowledge about everything. I had a great time and it was more like hiking with a friend than a stranger. The hikes were peaceful and the views were amazing. I would definitely do this again and would recommend it!

10/10 tour wit rezy
dude idek where to even start, lowkey came rlly early because I wanted to walk around downtown for a bit which was cool and sat down in a cute little cafe shop and got a banana bread from a cool girl named Chloe(also who let me use her charger for my dying phone THANK UU). Met my tour guide (Rezy), I’m socially an awkward person but they made me feel rlly comfortable and made me laugh as well(felt like talking to a friend rather than a stranger I js met). Some of the travel areas were closed or not a lot of animals were out (due to weather?idk)but tbh I had a rlly good time js talking abt jokes and what makes Alaska different. And Rezy rlly educated me on glaciers and other stuff I had no clue abt 🤣. 2nd day on my trip out in Alaska and made my week js going on this tour guide:) 10/10 would do it again. If u love sightseeing and having a good conversation with someone, highly recommend 👍

Breathtaking Experience
A breathtaking and beautiful experience we will never forget. Ben was extremely patient and helpful with taking our photos, providing us tips on how to capture the lights on our cameras and providing us with knowledge on the northern lights. Erica was extremely helpful with setting up the tripod for us to take photos, as well as offering us items to keep warm. I will definitely recommend this tour and attraction to my family and friends because I had an amazing time with my girlfriend (now fiancé). We will never forget such a beautiful and wonderful time we had. Every second of it was worth it.

I booked this small group...
I booked this small group tour instead of the large group excursions offered during our cruise. There were just 4 of us (we traveled with 2 friends). Christina was incredibly flexible with the itinerary. We had tickets on the first glacier boat trip of the day. Only 12 people on board compared with 120 who were booked for the 11.30 departure. We stopped off at a salmon run, had plenty of time at the Alaskan Conservation Center & made several side stops for photos & to enjoy the scenery. It was a really wonderful day. For a virtually private trip lasting almost 7 hours, we paid half the price of the cruise Hubbard Glacier trip - lasting 2 hours with 200 people on board.

Wonderful Tour and Experience
The group traveled along Turn Again Arm and visit many stops including the Wild Life Center. Gary hosted, drove and provided information about the places where we visited. He had great stories about Alaska. I felt bad for him since the group was mostly quiet. Nevertheless, he kept the information and stories flowing and I listened.

Not seeing something you are looking for?
Anchorage is surrounded by beauty and possibility on all sides (yes, even the water). Visitors here must carve out time to explore the city, as day trips from Anchorage are nearly endless—and endlessly tempting. Think glacier-viewing and climbing, catching the northern lights, walking through a rainforest, sighting bears and moose, and so much more. Nearby national parks also make great Anchorage day trips, as do quaint gold-rush towns and backcountry trails. If it involves spectacular nature, it’s possible in a day from Anchorage.
