Amazing trip! Beautiful sites and excellent guide

What an excellent trip! Matt is an awesome guide - super friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. This was our first time ever in Michigan from New England (in town for business and only 1 free day), and this was the perfect Fall day trip. If you've never been to the Great Lakes, this is an incredibly beautiful sightseeing tour - the water, the foliage, and the dunes are spectacular! We lucked out and were the only 2 who signed up that day, so we had an amazing day, but Matt does such a great job that this would be just as good in a small group. The van is spotless and comfortable, so you're in luck no matter the weather. Personally, I think the Fall day we had was perfect and preferable over a summer day because it was a comfortable, gorgeous walk in the woods where you weren't too hot and the foliage colors along the drive and walking path were gorgeous. We also enjoyed our picnic stop in Empire - the sandwiches are great and there's an awesome selection. We also had a little extra time and stopped in Cherry Republic which was great - if you haven't been, go to this location over the downtown Traverse City location! Overall, this was the highlight of our 5 days in Traverse City!

Wine tour in Traverse City

This winery tour was GREAT! We went to four wineries and had some delicious beverages - wine, cider, and wine slushies. Even some cherry wine since Traverse City is the cherry capital of the world. The SUV picked us up right across from our hotel and it was a nice, comfortable ride. It looked like a limo. The best part of the tour was our tour guide Tracy. She was friendly, informative, and everything you could want in a guide. She is at the top of the list of guides that I’ve had. Thanks for a great day!

Our driver and guide, Mike, was great! Very personal and informative. You’ll feel like you just made a new friend. We visited 3 great wineries each with their own distinct character and charm. The wine and food offerings at each were very nice. Bought several bottles to take home.

Fantastic wine country tour

I have a group of friends who graduated from college 45 years ago. This year we decided to visit Travers City. I found the 5 hour wine tour on Viator and booked it. Scott R picked us up in a bus that was perfect. It was comfortable and air conditioned. We traveled to 4 different wineries, and Scott told us about each one. He escorted us into the wineries and made sure we were comfortable. At the last winery he suggested we order appetizers and had time to sit down and chat with us. He is a great tour guide, and it was a fun day that I would recommend to any couples or groups looking for something to do for the day. I was surprised at how large the vineyards were and how beautiful it is in that area. It was impressive.

Would Book Again

Joe was an excellent driver. He was very friendly and knowledgeable about the wineries. He had great recommendations. He was very personable and made the experience a lot of fun. We did the public tour option so we were paired with other people, but they were very nice and you only need to be together for the transportation. Once you’re at the winery you can break off into your own groups.
