The staff was very informative and gave us the full background of the Iditarod and dog sledding in general. We got to meet our whole team of dogs, pet them etc and took a fun pseudo dog sled tour thru the forest. We then enjoyed puppy petting time and had a class on the gear and dog clothing used during the process. The entire staff was very friendly and anxious to share their knowledge. We were lucky enough to have one of the lead dogs that won an Iditarod on our team. We loved this experience and highly recommend it!

What a great experience with lovely people. I enjoyed learning about dog sledding, meeting the puppies and of course, the sledding itself. Highly recommend.

We had a great experience! The group was small so it was easy to ask lots of questions. We got up close with the sled team, took a wild ride and held 5-week old puppies. Our guide, Gideon, was friendly and knowledgeable. We would highly recommend this excursion.

Casey's superb public speaking skills combined with her obvious affection for the welfare of the dogs made this a truly enjoyable experience for us. Thank you!

The entire Team was exceptional! Arguably one of the best parts of our Alaska trip. The knowledge we learned about these incredible dogs, how well they are cared for and then experiencing being pulled by the animals was fun. And of course how do not love holding little puppies. Highly recommended

My friends and I were a little skeptical to do this tour in the summer without snow.. but it was incredible! Such a fun experience and of course the best part… playing with 3.5 week old husky puppies!!

Our Family truly enjoyed this experience getting to learn more about the history of dog sledding as well as how they are taken care of. Gideon was our guide and was in charge of hooking the dogs up to the sled and giving us a ride through the trails. He did an excellent job! Our grandkids loved playing with the puppies after our ride! I would highly recommend this adventure while you are in Seward!

It was cool to see the dogs and how they work with the dog sleds and work their way up. I just thought that the actual dog sled ride would be longer. So was a little disappointed in that. But was still a cool experience

I learned a lot - very informative.
I have done dog sledding tours where it is smaller groups or individual and they touch you what to do and say.
This was still great but not very long. I wish we spent more time with the dogs.

Excellent!!!! So much fun and friendly and knowledgeable staff who love the animals and their job. Gideon was amazing!!!

When I first booked, I assumed this was a snow-based activity, even though they make it very clear this is a wheeled ride on dry land. At first I was disappointed, but it exceeded my lowered expectations! The interactions with the dogs and the education about the Iditarod from experts were great. The staff were nice. The “sled” ride was actually pretty fun.

Experience was fantastic. Guide was so knowledgable and helpful. Learned so much and family had a great time. Highly recommend.

My family enjoyed the sled dog excursion. The ride itself was fun (about 2 miles long through wooded path). The guide made the experience fun and explained the mushing process. After the ride, we went into a room to learn about snow mushing and watch a demonstration with one of the dogs. Then we got to hold 2 week old puppies. My kids loved it and said it was one of their top 3 experiences in Alaska!

Absolutely as advertised. We rode the summer sled pulled by 13 dogs, with clearly given information, meeting each of the dogs as well as a litter of puppies and plenty of time to play. We loved it. One of the other party used a cane but had little trouble getting around until the puppies attacked his cane--great new toy! He loved their attention.

This was such a wonderful excursion. Learned much that I did to know, got to hold some beautiful puppies, top.
The sled ride was super fun and was awesome learning that our lead dog was a champion.

Amazing experience! Definitely a must do. The tour guides were incredible and our musher Ronan did a great job! We also enjoyed the educational session about the Iditarod and hanging out with the puppies!

It’s was so fun. And our guide was great. He was extremely knowledgeable. And the best part was holding the puppies and interacting with the fofs.
John_K, Jun 2026
The crew were very organized and professional. However, it is too expensive for dogs pulling you on a gravel path in a circle.
Ruiqi_W, May 2026
Very great one! Dogs are free to walk around in yards and they are very friendly. Baby husky are sooooo cute
Todd_C, Sept 2025

Raul_M, Sept 2025
The information was great. The person that was given the information was knowledgeable . The dogs where also great.
Amy_R, Sept 2025
We had a great time! The wheeled cart thing is covered during rain, which was nice. Staff takes pictures and a video of your group during the ride and shares it with you at the end. I learned so much and playing with the puppies was an added bonus.
Gail_S, Sept 2025
The ride is pretty rough in places so people with back or neck issues be aware. Snuggling with pups is so much fun!
