You have the opportunity...

You have the opportunity to learn so much about dog sledding and the environment in this area. The drive to the sled dog camp is absolutely beautiful. Our driver and guide, Ty, was amazing. Although, he was admittedly second best to his wife, CJ. Ty’s knowledge and humor made the trip more memorable. If I was younger, Ty would have me convinced to move to Skagway to work for the season. Now, the dogs. Who doesn’t love puppies? But the power of these dogs trying to pull us before we even got started was truly amazing. The dogs pulled us in an ATV and when they got to truly run, we were going about 18 mph. I’m pretty sure they could go faster. The knowledge of every person working at the camp and our guide made our cruise to Alaska truly remarkable. Thank you to Ty, the people at the Tutshi dog sled camp, and Klondike tours for a great experience. Ty- I hope you enjoy your PENcil, it’s refillable with a cheap bic pen ink. ☺️

Wonderful excursion!

This was such a far better experience than the train up into Canada. I loved being able to get off the bus at various beautiful locations for photos and some fresh air. Our driver even turned the bus around to go back and watch a bear for a little bit for us. Speaking of our driver, ePaul is fantastic and was a highlight of our day. He is so knowledgeable, funny, and kind. A top notch tour guide.

Fantastic tour

The 9 members of our family which included two 15 years old and a 13 year old had an awesome tour on this fun water craft. Beautiful scenery as we cruised along the shoreline and had exhilarating twists and turns when the captain I increased to high speeds. The captain and crew were friendly and knowledgeable. Great memories for our family.

Worth the Money!!

Connor our driver was very knowledgeable about the route we took and the land. Knew alot of history that was awesome. Very kind and helpful. Took pictures and the spots were great. This is the ONE!!!!

BEST. HIKE.. EVER!!!!!!!! This is the kind of thing you want to book!!! Locally owned, small groups, great pace (not too slow and not too fast!) plus HOLY CRAP THE BEAUTY!!! This is one of the best hikes I’ve ever taken in my life and we live in the beautiful Appalachian Mountains!!! Sam and Austin were STELLAR and fun and just full on amazing! This is by far the best way to spend a day in Skagway if you love nature, an amazing hike and then exploring a glacier! We were virtually the only ones out there too!! Really special! Avoid the tourist traps, book here!!!!

The bus ride via Klondike hwy We have gone through peaks, cliffs, falls, suspension bridge is fun ride. Our driver Len from Skagway Tour is also great! He has good knowledge and history of the Klondike area and narrating through the entire trip. It made 3.5 hrs venture to educational and fun! We would recommend this tour. We enjoyed it!

Awesome experience. The description on Viator is accurate. We were promptly picked up in Skagway, driven thru some great scenery to the Musher's Camp in Dyea. They immediately assigned us to a Unimog and we had an interesting ride through forests to meet our Musher & Sled Dogs. What a great experience, our Musher was a lady who has 44 dogs (2 team plus) and is totally knowledgeable and safety conscious ( for us, herself and her dogs ). We had a blast!

Amazing Views

The views were amazing. I changed my wallpaper on my phone probably three times because every stop was better than the previous one, it seemed. The puppies were underwhelming; several dogs in an area that weren’t very interested in playing or coming out of the shade. But there were a few little puppies in their own area and if you worked, you probably could get some cuddles or pictures. I will advise that there was no bathroom stop for the first 90 minutes and very limited opportunity for snacks and food. Bring snacks. Overall, I would recommend. The views were amazing. Engaging tour guide.

Best tour guide ever!

My wife and I had the privilege of having Andrew Nadon for a tour guide, but he is so much more than a tour guide; he’s a historian with a sense of humor. He’s a singer with a really good voice. He’s a storyteller. One of the most fascinating people we’ve met We couldn’t have asked for a more entertaining and informative experience. Ask him to recite poetry relevant to the history. We highly recommend Andrew!

Nice bus with working windows. They say we did the same sights as the train, difference was we are able to stop on the bus a few times for pictures. We had a rare and warm day. The people on the train complained they were sweating, over dressed and could not put down the window. Recommend the tour. Wear hiking shoes for visiting the falls.

I loved the white pass bus tour. The reason we chose this was because the bus stops at all the scenic views. We got out of the bus and was able to get some great photos. We also went into Canada. Our driver stopped at the Welcome to Alaska sign and took everyone's picture. Also got to stop at the cemetery and hike up to Reid Falls, which was quite beautiful. We were up close and personal to many falls on the tour. Kayla was an amazing tour guide!
