Schoenbrunns Finest as a tour guide!!

Gabby was a heartful guide who was born 5 minutes from the palace and grew up playing in the gardens. Her knowledge and love of the palace and the Hapsburg family was extraordinary and infectious. This is a super tour of a gorgeous palace and magnificent garden.

The Best Way to Experience Melk, Hallstatt, and Salzburg in One Day

If you take this tour, you can expect to feel that you did not have enough time in Melk, Hallstatt, and/or Salzburg. Thirteen hours is simply not enough time to fully appreciate all three. To the credit of our driver, D, he did an excellent job of advising us based on our individual interests. Although my wife would have been satisfied with 60 minutes at the monastery in Melk, I needed 90 minutes because I have a strong interest in history. My wife and I found 60 minutes to be more than enough time to stroll through the small, picturesque town of Hallstatt, but may people comment in their review that they would have preferred to spend more time in Hallstatt. Upon arrival in Salzburg, we had 2.5 hours to see the Mirabell Gardens (15 minutes), Mozart's Birthplace (45 minutes), and the Fortress (45 minutes). (The remaining 45 minutes was spent walking from one sight to another.) My wife and I have a strong interest in classical music and were disappointed that we couldn't spend at least another 30 minutes in Mozart's Birthplace. By the time we reached the Fortress by cable car at 5 PM, all of the Fortress museums were closing. Our driver, D, was very personable and a great conversationalist which made the long drives between destinations quite enjoyable.

A day trip to Hallstatt from Vienna

it is a long ride between Vienna to Hallstatt but it is worth it. We stopped for a very short time to see the Ort Castle and the lake. Beautiful place and beautiful pictures then we arrived to Hallstaff and enjoyed 3 hrs there. Fantastic. But what it made it better was Olga, the guide, she was very good. In total a very nice day.

Busy day but worth it!

This was an awesome experience. My mom and I were visiting Vienna and didnt have a lot of time to explore other places so this was perfect. We got picked up from our hotel and our driver, Rasto, was very accommodating all day. He and the other guide Bio made sure we had plenty of time to explore each city while also giving tours that were very informative. Rasto went above and beyond and shared many recommendations of food and places to see in Bratislava and also made an extra stop on the way home to make sure I could get the chocolate I was looking for. He also had a nice camera and took some photos of everyone, including the two attached to this review! Overall a great experience, and hopefully will visit both places again if I have more time but this experience was perfect for our limited free time!

Best tour I have taken!

The communication from my tour guide, Dace, started the day before on where to meet and what to look for (the green umbrella made it incredibly stress free). Dace was engaging and personal and I loved her ability to weave humour into historical facts. I truly was amazed at all of the knowledge she is able to retain and share. Her photos that she brings and incorporates into her overview also provides an in-depth look at Vienna then and now. I have been on several tours and Dace has now set the bar pretty high. I cannnot recommend taking her tour enough, if you are coming to Vienna. Thanks Dace!

The concert was held at St Peter’s Cathedral which is s gorgeous place to visit in itself. It was a feast for the eyes. The four musicians performed several well known pieces. They were highly skilled and a joy to listen to. The event was a huge success and well worth the money.

I had a wonderful experience exploring Budapest with White Alligator Tours. The entire tour was very well organized, smooth, and perfectly timed — everything felt effortless and enjoyable. This was a great tour. Our guide Taras had very good knowledgeable of Vienna and explained to us much of the history of the city. He was a good driver too! The tour of the underground lake was also fascinating. It was spooky and beautiful at the same time. It was interesting to learn all the things it had been used for; first, a mine, then , during WWII , a place to build plane parts, and then ,as a tourist attraction. The castle was neat to see. It looked very old and foreboding. It's too bad we weren't able to enter, though we knew this was the case.
