Top Venice Water Tours

Nice tour to see both islands of Murano and Burano. Plenty of time to see glass blowing demonstration and to look (maybe shop) the beautiful glass creations. On Burano we saw a lace sewing demonstration, lots of shops and shopping. Adequate free time to explore both islands. Hillary, our guide gave good suggestions for lunch, etc. I just wish the boat ride there was a little more comfortable. We were packed like sardines and it was an extremely hot day. Hilary took a to a little pastry shop where we sampled a delicious Burano cookie.

We had an amazing tour with Tommaso! We are a family of 4, including 10 year old twin girls, from Houston, Texas USA. Tommaso picked us up at our Airbnb and walked us to a private water taxi where we headed to Murano to see the glass blowing demonstration. There, he handed us off to Diego who explained the process to us as we watched a master artisan make a bowl and a horse. It was amazing to see this process in action! Then, Diego accompanied us while we visited the showroom displaying the pieces made by different artists. Of course the sales people want to sell, but we felt no pressure to buy anything. We decided to buy a piece of handmade Venetian glass as a souvenir upstairs and our kids picked out two small items from the small store on the first floor. If you want to buy real Venetian glass, this is the place to do so as all of what you see in Venice is cheap mass produced glass. From there, we met Tommaso again who took us to another private water taxi to take us to Burano. On this island, Tomasso accompanied us and gave us a tour of the local areas and explained the culture. We learned and saw so much more than we ever could have on our own. We walked around town and stopped for a snack before going to a lace shop where we saw a demonstration of the lace making process and again had the opportunity to buy some lace, but it is not mandatory. After that, Tommaso took us back to our third and final private water taxi which took us back to Venice. This was a great day with a great guide and a great tour company! This company employs only locals for their tours, so their enthusiasm and dedication is evident. We highly recommend this tour for the quality, ease, and convenience, especially with children. Luca is a nice person first and foremost. Second, he is knowledgeable and shows you the important sites of Venice. Gondola rides may be popular, but a motor gets the job done faster and covers more ground. My money is on the motor boat tour every time! Thank you 🇺🇸

This was a very full day of taking in the main sites of this glorious city. The two guides Roberta and Christina were incredibly knowledgeable and pleasant. We could never have gotten so much into one day without the tour. This was well worth the money!

This was a wonderful trip and the best way to see Venice. Our captain was so friendly and knowledgeable and made the whole trip fun and educational. It was a lovely addition to have a glass of Prosecco as we meandered through the canals. I would highly recommend this trip.

Absolutely a fantastic experience, Mary showed up on time and had a terrific personality which made us very comfortable. My wife and I were celebrating our 30 year anniversary and had never hired a professional photographer, Venice was the perfect spot. She had the perfect spots to take pictures and helped us with some posing. Highly recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our private Murano tour. The boat ride over was smooth, we were met by Andre who showed us the behind the scenes process with the glass master. We toured the shop and selected some beautiful pieces to be shipped back home. Our guide, Camilla, was exceptional. She shared great info about the art, history, culture and pride of the Venetian people.

This was fantastic! Live saxophone playing alongside music, scenic views, you get one free drink and the rest are reasonably priced. They pause the boat for scenic photos along the way, boat owner was on the ride, great guy. Highly recommend doing this, worth every penny!!!
