Fantastic tour! A friendly guide who knows everyone. Efficient, eventful, and a perfect look at the islands. It doesn't take the entire day, so you can go back to any island you like more than the others if you'd like.
Andrea had an anecdote about everything we could think of, and was a pleasure to be around.

Our guide Andrea was fantastic. He was colorful, friendly and attentive guide! He showed us the highlights of Torcello (which many tours unfortunately skip), Burano, and Murano. A great tour for a very reasonable cost.

We had a great time! Andrea was very knowledgeable and personable! Bouncing around the islands via boat taxis is fun and a great way to see Venice’s exterior islands - Murano, Burano and Torcello. We highly recommend as it’s a unique aspect of this Geographic area.

Whilst I guide was friendly and funny, the whole experience was underwhelming and we definitely could have visited these three islands ourselves and got as much information. In addition to your online ticket price from Viator, you are also required to buy a public transport 24hr Ticket at the additional cost of 25 Euro. This is because the tour utilises the extremely busy and overcrowded Public Transport to get each of the islands.
We did get to visit each of the three islands. The first Torcelli was probably the moat interesting but our time was limited here and I guide sent us up the tower with little information, whilst he stayed at the bottom to smoke. (There is a amazing small Museum here with Roman artifacts & Frescos but this was NOT included in the tour)
Murano and Burano were both beautiful islands but unfortunately both of our organised visits to The Lace Shop & Glass Blowing Factory felt more like sales pitches than a actual demonstration. (The public can visit these places and see these demonstrations at any time for Free)
In short, you can save yourself the price of this tour and instead buy yourself a public transport 24hr pass and make your own way to these beautiful Islands and explore in your own time.

I normally never respond to bad and unhappy reviews: the fact that it is the only negative review here in Viator is enough to testify the personal frustration of the author..
In any case, it can be useful so I'll explain again how the ticket works (which is presumably the reason for your revenge...) in the hope that everyone can read it and that there will never be any problems of this type again.
When you purchase a guide to the islands of Murano, Burano and Torcello, you have 2 transportation options: 1)public boat or 2)private boat…unless you want to swim 10 kilometers there and back😂
Certainly there are cheaper island tours but in that case you are never accompanied on site because the guides only stay on board and you only have 45 minutes to visit each island. What can you see in 45 minutes?!
However, the ticket for public transport costs 25 euros per person and is valid for 24 hours which you can therefore reuse throughout the day. I think it is the best offer because private transport boat costs 150 euros per hour and since the tour lasts 5 hours it would cost a total of 750 euros. Believe me that all your protests and subsequent complaints really don't make any sense because all the other tour participants had public transport tickets and knew very well the crazy prices offered by water taxis. Let's leave it to the King of England or famous V.I.P people to use that type of transport..
As for the Torcello Tower, I suffer from vertigo and for this reason I cannot climb a fifty meter Romanesque tower. Since I am unfortunately a smoker, I smoked a cigarette while waiting for you.

You are completely right in stating that the archaeological museum is wonderful, but still all your complaints and subsequent complaints make no sense because you didn't book the tour where the visit is scheduled. You could easily choose one where you visited it: in Venice there are many tours where you visit the islands…
In Burano and Murano we have been making lace and glass for centuries. I can understand that you are not interested, but I still wonder why if, as you told me, you had no interest in seeing the production of lace and glass, you chose to book a tour where such visits are foreseen?! And yet in Murano visits to glass factories are not free. I pay for the ticket for each customer: go ahead and check wherever you want: you will never find any glass factory that will let you in for free, unless you are the late Queen Elizabeth. So you are still wrong and therefore all your complaints and your subsequent complaint still make no sense.
In the end it would be better, when you wake up with a bad day (because I sincerely hope that you are not such a dissatisfied person even in your private life...) to buy a public transport ticket and visit the islands on your own (which is certainly the the most convenient option if you are only interested in taking photographs around) or organize a private boat, pay 750 euros for five hours and see everything you want most.
(In Venice there are many private taxis that organize such services, you are free to spend your money as you want :) regards, Andrea

There is no way to do this on your own and if you travel to Venice you should not miss the islands that give the region os much culture. Our guide was fantastic - funny, informed, patient - and he made sure we saw what we wanted to see. I would add that a little more cultural history would have been great but overall we learned a ton, the tour was well managed and planned and we had a great time! Thanks!

Torcello Island, you must go there. The chiese (church) dates back to 650 AD
Bring insect repellent. Lots of mosquitoes
Burano is a brilliant island full of excellent and ‘considered’ Italian craftsman.
You won’t see their product in Venice.
Murano is more like Venice. The glass making demo was sensational
