Rona was a great tour guide. So passionate about history and letting us know the famous paintings in the churches and the history of the buildings. I really enjoyed her. She was flexible and did not rush us at any point. She gave us her suggested restaurants and we tried one after the tour and it was really good (Dolphin). She even stopped for a much needed drink to refresh us in the 90+ degree heatwave here in August. The gondola ride was really nice but kinda short only 20 minutes. Don’t expect them to sing to you, they say that only really happens in Las Vegas.

We’re also sorry that the gondola ride was shorter than expected. The gondola service is provided independently by a local operator, and we simply arrange the service as part of the tour. Unfortunately, the duration of the ride is determined by the gondola operator and is therefore beyond our control. Our guide Hossein (Tony) was great. His love of Veniece really showed. He was patient with us as we had difficulty getting to him, which we really appreciated. He set up the gandola ride as well.

This was a one to one personal tour where in this case we actually had two tour guides for the both of us as one was a trainee. Their English was very good and everything was done at our pace. We didn’t feel overwhelmed with too much information which can be the case on some tours and they were happy to answer any questions. Both the girls were lovely and we would thoroughly recommend them. They managed to arrange a gondola ride for us at the end even though it was the time of day that they normally had their break.

Fari was a terrific guide. She was pleasant and knowledgeable. She was easy to understand and light-hearted ... the kids really enjoyed the tour, too. She explained to much about Venice and in a spaced-out, easy to digest, manner. We had a great tour with her!

This tour is AMAZING. Our guide Major was not only knowledgeable, but he made the tour amazing for us. From pointing out places for us to get dinner after to all the amazing facts that he gave. And the best part is you end with a ride in a gondola, definitely a highlight of our trip. This tour is a must do for anyone visiting Venice!

Tony, our guide, was fabulous! He was knowledgeable, set a comfortable pace, and we enjoyed our time with him.
We hit all the sites in our 3 hr tour. We had gotten lost finding the meeting site, so Tony guided us on line and he flexed the meeting space to meet us.
We highly recommend Tony for this tour.

Rona was fantastic! Full of history, landmarks, gorgeous buildings and views. Gondola ride across the Grand Canal and through beautiful areas of homes and businesses was refreshing and peaceful. We stopped when we wanted and she took pictures of us throughout.

If you’re considering this tour, book it! Our guide, Rona, was absolutely outstanding and made this one of the best tours we’ve ever taken. She’s currently studying for her master’s degree in Venice, and her passion for the city’s history and culture really showed. She was incredibly knowledgeable, funny, engaging, and took us through quieter neighborhoods that helped us avoid the biggest tourist crowds while still seeing the highlights. The walking tour was easily one of the highlights of our time in Venice.
One thing to know: the gondola ride at the end is arranged through the local gondola station, where the tour company helps you secure and pay for a ride. The experience you have depends entirely on the gondolier you’re assigned. Ours was pretty quiet and not especially engaging, but it still felt like an authentic Venice experience and definitely checked the gondola ride off our bucket list.
Overall, we’d highly recommend this tour… especially if you’re lucky enough to have Rona as your guide. She made the experience memorable, informative, and a lot of fun. Other tourists around us in larger groups wearing headsets looked miserable in comparison.

Our tour was cut short an hour for no reason. Instead of 1pm-4pm, we ended at 3pm for no reason. Gondola ride was so boring with no talking or conversation. Guide seemed nice but couldn’t engage our four kids.

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry the experience did not meet your expectations.
We would, however, like to clarify that your children repeatedly asked to proceed to the gondola earlier, so the guide adapted the pace to your family’s preferences. Some explanation stops were shortened because your family preferred to continue moving rather than remain for the full commentary.
You also declined the optional traditional mask workshop and the guide’s offer to continue the tour after the gondola ride. The guide remained available to provide the remaining scheduled experience.
We therefore respectfully disagree that the tour was shortened “for no reason.” The itinerary was adjusted according to your family’s requests and decisions. Please also note that live commentary from the independent gondolier is not an advertised inclusion; the historical commentary is provided during the guided walking portion.
We regret that the adapted experience did not meet your expectations, despite our guide’s efforts to accommodate your family.

The walking tour with the our guide Sherry was great. She was knowledgeable and allowed us to take time and enjoy each location and mixed in some modern art as well as the old. She was engaging and very friendly and never rushed.
The gondola ride is overrated imo- we went at 12:30 pm and it was very crowded. It was more of a check the box. I would highly recommend the tour and skip the gondola.

Rona our tour guide was exceptional! She was very knowledgeable about everything in the city of Venice w great history stories we really enjoyed!! This tour was great for a half day which we had limited time here but got to enjoy the highlights!! The gondola ride was awesome as well. I would recommend Rona very much for a wonderful experience! This walking tour is a must while staying in Venice! We had the pleasure of spending the day and exploring the city with Soroush - What a gem! Soroush was the ultimate tour guide - Knowledgeable, insightful, friendly and easy to get along with. He made our experience one we will not soon forget - We explored places that we would not have on our own and learned about the extensive history of the city. This was the perfect way to start our time in Venice and is highly recommended!

We were 1st time visitors to Venice with only one full day and night to explore. We are extremely grateful to have found this tour with Tony.
Tony was amazing, his knowledge of the history of Venice, the architecture, the bridges, the canal system, was absolutely amazing.
He brought us to the private Gondola ride, left us in good hands and told us he would meet us at the end of the ride, he went to a few of the brides and took our picture and video recorded us and shared them with us when we met back up to continue the walking tour. The time flew by, it is clear Tony is very passionate about Venice and sharing what he knows with others. This is a 5-Star tour with a World Class Guide. To top it off, his dinner recommendation was fabulous. What an amazing night.

Our guide Fari was excellent! She was very knowledgeable and had a wonderful presentation. She took the time to make sure we got the tour we wanted to have and ask if there were anything else we would like to see. Very willing to answer questions answers for everything we asked. Very patient with my husband who likes to stop and take a lot of pictures. I would highly recommend this tour and Fari as your guide!

We booked this to cover two bases: getting to know Venice better and checking the box on a gondola ride. Our guide was very informative and relaxed. It was nice to have a private guide and be able to rest as needed. The gondola ride was really nice, they covered the tip even. Compared to other gondola offerings, this one avoided too much time on the choppy main canal and navigated the quiet peaceful canals. We were surprised we enjoyed it so much.
Overall great guide, great communication by the guide to ensure we were able to get there, and great tour.
