Best of Venice indeed

Robbie was an excellent guide. So friendly and knowledgeable. She did a great job sharing the right amount of knowledge of history and culture. The weather was very hot and she made sure the group was comfortable — thoughtfully selecting areas in the shade to share more while also bringing the group to great photo opportunity areas. Lots of info on a long hot day

This is a LONG day. My friends might not give this five stars as the day was hot and they bowed out about an hour before the tour was over. And honestly, it was a long tour. Positives: Delightful and knowledgeable tour guide, no waiting in line for anything. Group was only 17 people, which is better than some very large groups I have seen walking through the city. Negatives: Quite long and if you only have a tiny interest in the history of the place then this is not the tour for you.

Glorious Venice

This was a very full day of taking in the main sites of this glorious city. The two guides Roberta and Christina were incredibly knowledgeable and pleasant. We could never have gotten so much into one day without the tour. This was well worth the money!

A lot of beautiful history with great storytelling

Philippe was very knowledgeable and was able to break down centuries of history in a humourous digestible way. I was enraptured in his storytelling and enjoyed his style of guiding. It’s also the Bieniale in Venice and he pointed out hidden gems on our tour. Plus the gondola tour at the end was very nice. Highly recommend.

Fantastic day in Venice

Fantastic tour. Marco was a great tour guide. This tour was very comprehensive but also did not feel rushed. We had plenty of time at lunch and felt like we saw all the sites we wanted to see that day. The family walked away very impressed and pleased at the end of the day.

Great Way To Learn About Venice History!

We are glad we booked a tour that included most of the major sites in Venice. We were there when it was pretty crowded due to the start of the Biennale (International Art exhibition) and also due to the fact that it was raining off and on during the day. Nicola, our tour guide, expertly combined the history of Venice, its residence, art, and architecture. Highly recommend this tour company. Their nice offices are in a tiny alley that is conveniently close to San Marco Square.

The only way to truly meet the Queen of the Adriatic…

Our time in Venice was very limited (two days) so we wanted to prioritize getting to know and understand the city and her stories. The tour guided by Lorenzo was the perfect choice for us—he quickly assessed our interests and proceeded to give us a 90 minute guided tour of the city, both the stories behind the well known sites (like the Rialto bridge) as well as taking us into tiny alleyways and passages to get a feel for the Venezia that few tourists ever see. After 90 minutes learning the history, the legends, and the present day realities of the city, we stepped into a gondola that took us so quietly through the canals as the sunset faded and the lights of Venice turned on around us. This tour was a splurge for us, but there is only one Queen in Venice and this is the perfect guide to introduce you. I would do do this again in a heartbeat and recommend it to anyone coming to visit who wants to step outside the main tourist routes and try being Venetian for an evening.

Most beautiful thing in Venice

I would recommend this to every single person that comes to Venice, it’s really a once-in-a-lifetime experience no one should ever miss. It’s five of us so we have two gondolas, my husband and myself together with son on the gondola that has musicians and my mum and in-law on the other one, they can clearly hear the songs and took lots of wonderful video. The musicians are great player and singer, it’s one of our best if not the best-best memory of Italy! I would say it’s something you can really feel how wonderful and dreamy this city it!
