Part 1: Murano & Burano Islands Tour The Islands of Murano and Burano are so stunningly beautiful they make your eyes hurt—seriously, Burano's neon houses look like a box of crayons exploded in the best way possible! 🎨🏝️ Our guide, Francesca, was an absolute saint, expertly guiding us through the crowds and making sure we didn't wander off and permanently move into a pink house. Meanwhile, our captain, Matteo, navigated the Venetian Lagoon so smoothly that nobody spilled a drop of their drink. 10/10, would get stranded on an island with this crew any day! Part 2: St. Mark’s Basilica & Doge’s Palace Walking Tour The splendor of St. Mark’s Basilica and the Doge’s Palace is absolutely mind-blowing, with gold mosaics and grand rooms that make you feel like Venetian royalty! 🏛️👑 Our guide, Marco, was a master storyteller and easily one of the funniest, most enjoyable guides we’ve ever experienced. He brought centuries of history to life with so many jokes and laughs that we completely forgot our feet were tired from walking. 10/10, Marco turned a historic tour into pure entertainment!

This was an excellent tour guided by Roberta. Roberta was pleasant and personable and she provided a thorough, detailed explanation of these very important historical sites. Worth the money as you will learn so much more about history and culture than simply buying tickets and wandering through on your own.

Lucia is the best tour guide

Lucia was a fantastic tour guide!!! You can tell she is very passionate about her job and the knowledge that she shared with us about the Doge Palace and St. Mark's Basilica. The entire tour was awe-inspiring and left a lasting impression of rich history the beautiful city of Venezia. The gondola ride was very enjoyable as well, you go to the other tour office for a short VR presentation on the history of Venice and then you load in the gondola with another pair. The gondoliers are quiet but speak with each other as they push off poles and buildings with their feet, so fun. 10/10 would recommend. Fantastic introduction to Venice and its rich history.

Great way to see Venice

This is a great private tour to go over the history of Venice and bypass the high traveled alleyways. ( which were very congested) She was very knowledgeable and easy to be with! The tour ended with a gondola ride through the city. Would recommend this trip.

First time in Venice.

If you go in summer just be reminded that the Doge Palace is not air condition and is very warm inside so take a fam and water. Saying that, it was a fantastic tour and our guide was so knowledgeable about everywhere she took us. Lizza was lovely and always encouraged questions and apologised for her English but she needn’t as she was brilliant. The gondola ride was amazing and fun. Would definitely recommend this tour.

Our gondolier was professional, navigating the waterways with effortless grace while pointing out a few hidden landmarks along the way.

The only way to truly meet the Queen of the Adriatic…

Our time in Venice was very limited (two days) so we wanted to prioritize getting to know and understand the city and her stories. The tour guided by Lorenzo was the perfect choice for us—he quickly assessed our interests and proceeded to give us a 90 minute guided tour of the city, both the stories behind the well known sites (like the Rialto bridge) as well as taking us into tiny alleyways and passages to get a feel for the Venezia that few tourists ever see. After 90 minutes learning the history, the legends, and the present day realities of the city, we stepped into a gondola that took us so quietly through the canals as the sunset faded and the lights of Venice turned on around us. This tour was a splurge for us, but there is only one Queen in Venice and this is the perfect guide to introduce you. I would do do this again in a heartbeat and recommend it to anyone coming to visit who wants to step outside the main tourist routes and try being Venetian for an evening.
