Tour guide was clear with details and very informative of Venice history! First time ever not getting motion sickness, small boat ride was cool!

This was such a wonderful experience. I would highly recommend this to people who loved going on tours without feeling like a tourist. You are not in giant cattle call of people or walking around with earbuds in your ear and matching bright orange hats like many other tours. The guide was amazing, funny and knowledgeable. The tour consisted of hoping on a boat with 15 people while the guide tells fun stories and you have a glass of prosecco. When you reach Moreno you see a lovely glass with a few pieces then you have an hour to shop and stroll. After you hop back on the boat and head to Burono and you get a similar lace demonstration and then an hour and a half to shop, eat, and take photos. The hide recommended a wonderful lunch spot. After that the boat ride home and more stories. It was such a wonderful experience. The best of all our tours throughout Italy.

Great day out exploring other islands. Murano glass blowing demonstration was wonderful. Burano was a lovely, busy island with lots to see and great food. Shopping galore. Guide was informative and entertaining. Worth the cost.

Great experience for glass blowing BUT tume spent at not long enough. Should need at least another hour to be able to look at everything.
Also, you should have advanced warning and instruction should you need a entry code after returning in dock.

Our guide, a true local to the islands, was an absolute delight and made the experience all the more enjoyable with their knowledge and warm personality. We especially recommend this tour because of the smaller group size, which made it feel much more personal and relaxed. The transportation was also excellent—smooth, comfortable, and really added to the overall experience. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a more intimate and well-organized way to explore the islands!

We had the best time. Very informative, she told us and showed us so much. Found great spots for photos and great treats. Ricky, our boat driver was the best too. Tina, (hopefully I have your name correct), thank you for the best day and all your help at the end of Tour. Best of luck to you.

Loved this tour. Our tour guide was Fantastic and the boat captain was excellent. Watching an actual artisan glass worker make two different items was really cool. Then viewing and shopping the six rooms of Murano glass was jaw dropping. Discounts provided if you wanted to buy were reasonable. We also enjoyed the Burano island. The lace shop that the tour operator took us to was very special. The staff was so nice and the lacework was just incredible. I would highly recommend this tour.

I went on this tour with my husband and two daughters, ages 10 and 12, in March. It was fantastic! The meeting place was well defined and close to St. Mark's Square. The boat ride was amazing and gave excellent views of Venice that you dont get from shore. Plus there was a glass of complimentary prosecco. Murano and Burano were both beautiful. The glass blowing demonstration was interesting and a close up view of how it's done. The artists were amazing to watch. There was quite a bit of information on making lace in Burano and seeing the intricacies in person from a family that still makes it by hand was incredible. But the best part of the trip was our guide, Rachel. She was so personable and funny. She kept apologizing for having her son along because he was out of school due to voting. But he was so well behaved and it made the tour even better because you were with a real Italian single mom, working and living life. Everything was great. Don't hesitate to book this one!

Guila gave us a wonderful tour of Murano and Burano islands. She was very friendly and engaging with a lot of Venetian information. Highly recommend.
Sarah_S, Apr 2026
We definitely found this tour to be a highlight of our time in Venice! Absolutely loved the glass making demonstration and found a couple of beautiful items to bring home. Burano was so colorful and unique. Our tour guide Rachele was wonderful! Very knowledgeable, gave us a good lunch recommendation and had a witty sense of humor. I liked the pace of the tour as well - perfect amount of time in each place

First time using Viator and we were extremely impressed. The service was superb, the guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. We will definitely use this company for future travels!
Nathan_P, Apr 2026
Rachele was an excellent host! She gave us fantastic background during our boat tour and provided great support during our visits to the glass factory and Burano lace. We had so much fun!
Claire_T, Apr 2026
This was a brilliant tour. Clementina, our tour guide, was lovely and gave us a lot of interesting information. She really made the experience fun and had great tips on the best places to shop and eat.
Burano was just beautiful and well worth the visit. The timing was perfect for missing the big crowds. The glass factory in Murano was amazing and we loved the demonstration.
We would highly recommend doing this tour.
Sally_P, Apr 2026
So much fun! Clementine was a great host, with lots of history and facts about Venice. Highly recommended!

After reading a few reviews we decided to take this guided tour to Murano and Burano. The experience was lovely for my wife and two kids. The meeting point was easy to find and the guide called me to ensure we were there, after that we took a boat and went to Murano first where we watched the work on glass, not an easy one by the way but very interesting. Then went to Burano where we had time to walk around, had lunch and took some pictures.
I would recommend this tour, and by the way we had a really nice guide.
Aleksander_N, Mar 2026
Really cool tour of Murano and Burano.
The host was friendly and knowledgable, we learnt a lot and had a good time.
The highlight was the Murano glass factory visit, where we saw the glass masters creating a vase and a horse from scratch.
Deborah_P, Mar 2026
Wonderful day excursion! Not too long or too short. We enjoyed the boat ride to the islands. Each island has a very different look and feel. The glass making was much more intriguing than I thought it would be. We saw them make several items including a horse! I appreciated that they gave us some time to shop in both locations. We had a wonderful lunch sitting outside in Burano. The guide was very knowledgeable and fun to be with. This was one of the favorite activities of our trip!
Sarah_J, Mar 2026
Loved visiting the islands. Enjoyed the glass blowing and seeing the products. Would have been good to have time in Burano for shops. Didn't enjoy the time in the lace shop. Guide was very informative and amusing!
Mary_E, Mar 2026
Interesting especially the glass making.
The restaurant recommended by the tour guide was good and bad. The wine was inexpensive and nice but the pizza was tasteless bad frozen pizza.
Doris_W, Mar 2026
The glass master was AMAZING!! He made a horse so that is was perfectly weighted to stand up on its hind legs in just a very few minutes. I’m in awe of his expertise!
Joel_D, Feb 2026
The history, geography and industry of the islands was well explained. The glass blowing demonstration was fabulous as well as the lace making explanation and examples. Burano is a beautiful island and picturesque. We were given plenty of time to explore, eat and purchase on Burano. The boat ride was safe and enjoyable. We would highly recommend this trip. It was economical and not a large number of people in our group.
Jonathan_S, Feb 2026
You really should not come to Venice and miss out on this experience. The glass making was amazing to watch and the display look like a bonafide art museum. The islands are a welcomed reprieve from the bustling main islands. The boat ride was smooth and we even passed by the wildlife reserve.

Alex was the best tour guide out of the 7 tours that we booked while in Italy!!
Riding the boat even in the rain this was a 10/10 day for us! Seeing the glass being made and visiting burano was amazing!!
Marycslater, Feb 2026
Fabulous tour guide. Very entertaining and educational.
Had a wonderful lunch in Burano
& a couple glasses of Prosecco on the boat ride back to Venice.
Jackson_G, Feb 2026
Good little half day trip that lets you see murano and Burton. It’s a bit of a setup to try and get you to buy items from the shops they bring you to but what tour isn’t.
Only complaint is that the boat was a bit loud and it made it tricky to hear what the guide was telling us about the area over the microphone
Keith_W, Feb 2026
Perfect blend of 2 different experiences worth far more than the cost! The highly skilled yet uniquely artistic trades of glass blowing and lace making was fascinating. We were given time to shop and take in the colorful Burano houses. This was completely worth it and a great way to spend 5 hours!
Donna_K, Jan 2026
The meeting place was not well identified
Operator tour guide didnt communicate as others have
Murano demonstration was minutes long
All about shopping and bitter cold to see few shops
Burano was even colder and fewer places to shop or eat
VIJAYA_S, Jan 2026
It was a wonderful trip and absolutely worth the visit. Angela(Hope I got name right) our guide was very informative about Venice and, as a local, shared many fascinating stories. Although it snowed on the day and it was quite cold, the beautiful views made us forget all about it.
Paul_H, Nov 2025
Alessario was a great guide. Lots of local knowledge. The tour allowed to get out on the water and see a different part of Venice
