One of my favorite excursions
My wife and I made our first visit to Venice and booked a 5:45PM Taste of Venice tour. It had been a long and crowded day in Venice and we were already tired. I almost considered skipping out on the tour and going back to our hotel, I’M GLAD WE DIDN’T. One of the best excursions I’ve ever been on, well worth the money! Our guide Sara was amazing. Great food, great drinks, and great conversation. There is a lot of walking, but that is what Venice is. I’m in my mid 50s and had no problem keeping up. I can’t recommend this tour enough. More food than you typically have at dinner and the quality is amazing.

Our tour guide was...
Our tour guide was excellent! He had so many informative comments, and a great sense of humor in his storytelling. He was the best guude we've had in Italy! A And of course, the sites were amazingly beautiful and interesting! However, warning: there are a LOT of stairs on this tour, and due to huge crowds of visitors, we were never afforded time to sit at one of the few rest stops along the way. At least four unrelated people in my tour group were having trouble walking by the end of the tour - in pain - and would have greatly benefited from occasional short breaks in rooms that had seating.

Tour company sold us...
Tour company sold us tickets to st marks for holy thursday but the church was closed. NOT GOOD THEY SHOULD HAVE KNOWN THE CHURCH WAS CLOSED. The guide liked to talk and share her extensive knowledge but it was too much for us so we left the group and continued on our own.
