Our guide was not great. He spoke little English, couldn’t understand the questions we were asking and gave very little context into what we were seeing. He pointed out random things with no details. For example, “Garden.” “Church.” In addition, he smoked several cigarettes during the tour. We also got pulled over by the water police and he got a ticket for being in one of the canals where they didn’t allow commercial vehicles. It was all rather comical. I would recommend this to her. If there was a guy that was English speaking like it was advertised, but we learned very little. However, the hidden canals were very interesting. It would just have been nice to have somebody who had historical knowledge and had passion for communicating information.
Our tour guide was phenomenal. He was very knowledgeable and did a great job at answering everyone's questions. We were able to see so much of Venice that we couldn't see any other way.
Covered a large area of Venice. Guide was very nice but very young, I wish he would of talked a little more and told us more about this beautiful city but overall, good.
Fun, easy, relaxing- convenient way to see Venice. Expensive. Lasts 90 minutes. Takes you around narrow canals and out to open sea.
Very disappointed as the company knew they were expecting heavy rain, they even tried to get us to move the tour to a later time. But as we had a prior engagement we couldn’t make the later time, I suggested to them if they couldn’t make the 2:00pm time slot then maybe it should be cancelled. Well it went ahead for about 40 minutes and the downpour came. The captain parked us as quick as possible under a bridge and we sat there for nearly 25 minutes totally drenched. In the end we just said drop us off at the train station so we could get back to our hotel and warm up with a hot shower.

I am sorry about your experience with the summer shower. We have been reaching out to you in the morning to check your flexibility in the day as some possible showers were expected at the time of the experience. We have offered maximum flexibility to rearrange the tour at a different time along the day or to cancel and refund the booking, however you have confirmed us to keep the tour as per original time due to other commitments and the fact that it was your last day in Venice, so no other time slot would have worked for you. We have done our best to accomodate your booking as per your requests despite our warnings about possible weather condition.

The only way to see Venice! We had such a great time and tour guide was fantastic, he even modified our tour since we were the only couple and dropped us off at our hotels private dock

Wonderful tour of all the canals both major and some really quiet ones. The electric engine means the journey is lovely and quiet and no smell of oil!! Sebastian was our driver and guide and was brilliant. 5 stars given as it was such an enjoyable trip!! 😀
We were in Venice for four days before we did this trip. This was the highlight of our week. Our guide was phenomenal! We did extensive waterways clear up into the northern area out to the sea and back and around 2 Saint Marks Square. The boat was very quiet and the guide was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. I would recommend highly pursuing this tour.
Relaxing and enjoyable. Learn a lot about Venice from the guide. A great way to see Venice from the canals.
Donnato the Captain was very friendly and took great care of us in the extreme heat! There is no shade on the boat however we were equipped with parasols so if it’s very hot keep that in mind. The route was fun and the Captain gave us a little running commentary.

Prompt boat arrival to meeting point. Good size boat, small enough for smooth ride on side canals, large enough to handle wake in grand canal. Offered beverages throughout. Even took photos of our group and maneuvering boat for best view.

We absolutely loved this trip! We even got a longer ride than planned, and they showed and explained all the best sights to us. We also really enjoyed the delicious snacks they treated us to. We came away with so many wonderful photos and unforgettable memories from this ride. Everything was simply gorgeous!
Emilio was a wonderful boat driver, personable, relaxed and made the experience absolutely enjoyable.
Great tour, but because they do not have a storefront your meet up point is a little obscure. Don’t be afraid to arrive five minutes early and have them roll up on time. Great tour and very knowledgeable.
Sebastiano was very knowledgeable but also very relaxed. We saw Venise better that way and electric is quiet yet efficient.

The prior reviews have some truth to them but some are overblown. You start the tour in a quiet canal and then spend about 5 or so minutes on the main waterway to get to the next small canal. I’d say the next 30-40 minutes you are touring all the neighborhoods on calm canals. The final 10-20 you are on the main waterway again. It was this part that was a little frustrating because my wife did get a little wet at the front of the boat. Enough to make it uncomfortable. Would have preferred they said sit father back. There were 7 guests as well since we combined with another family but there was room for all.

Regarding the tour, indeed, while the tour is designed to focus on the hidden canals we would also have to cross some open water to reach some other area of the city, this to see and discover the whole city districts and their different canals, including passing in front of the San Marco, San Giorgio, Punta della Dogana, Redentore and some of other main sights that are only visibile from the bigger canal. Lively, fun and awesome viewing tour by a skilled boatsman who knows the canals and the scenery. Outstanding trip with things that you wouldn't see on a normal tour! Well worth the time and cost.
Great time out in the canals. Our driver was fantastic and we got to go to places that a gondola cannot go.
Our captain Emiliano was great! Very knowledgeable. Seeing Venice by private boat tour was amazing. Would highly recommend!
Note: Only able bodied, avoid if mobility issues, the on-boarding is difficult. The City of Venice is walking or boats, only. The Piazelle Roma is closest place to catch taxi, bus or Uber.
This was a great experience! Our guide was extremely friendly and provided just the right amount of information during the tour. It starts in an area a bit off the major tourist area so you also get to see a little different part of Venice that you might miss.
The electric boat was very smooth and very quiet.
I would highly recommend this tour as good way to see the canals from the water level even over the gondola rides.

The boat was newer, clean.and spacious The meeting point was easy to find and it was such a beautiful calm, peaceful ride through the canals.
Boat was 30 minutes late and I had to call the operator to find out where the boat was. Boarding was unsafe and caused my girlfriend to fall and injure herself.

thank you for your booking and for taking the time to review the experience. I am sorry about the delay to the tour related to the high volume of traffic in the lagoon due to the Biennale's opening. Unfortunately there some circumstances that are out of our control.
In regards to the unsafe boarding, we always do our best to ensure the smoothest boarding procedure, reason why we always require our guest to pay extra attention to avoid complication on the boarding that might be due to the low water tide, the wave motion, or the environmental condition.

It was difficult getting in and out of the boat for a fat, old lady. The hidden canals were wonderful but too much time in the “big water”

Due to the complexity of the venetian canal's system and the relative traffic arrengement, in order to access some of the smaller canals of the city we also have to cross some of the open areas that at the same time allow pictoresque views of the city while offering a full overview of Venice and all it's districts. I hope to have you onboard again in the future.
