- Unfortunately due to the nature of this tour it is not suitable for guests with mobility impairments or with wheelchairs, or strollers.
- If access is restricted due to private events inside St. Mark's Basilica and/or Doge's Palace, we cannot be held responsible. This is a situation beyond our control. No refund will be issued.
- In case of unforeseen circumstances such as bad weather (heavy rain, strong wind, high tide) conditions that prevent the gondola ride from taking place or any operational or safety reasons beyond our control it may be substituted for another experience, but no refund will be provided.
- Due to the religious nature of sites on this tour, all individuals (regardless of gender) must cover their shoulders and knees. It is acceptable to bring extra coverings to put on just before entering a holy site. Walks cannot be responsible for anyone denied entry.
- All guests must supply their full name that matches a valid ID at the time of the booking. Should you fail to provide these, your reservation will be canceled. Name changes are not permitted.
- Venice Express Option: Gondola is not included.
- Please note that a photo ID is required to visit the St. Marks Basilica. Failure to bring an ID can result in the security staff refusing your entrance to the monument.
- 8:30am tour is limited to 20 people and includes a lunch break on your own, while the 8:15am tour does not include a lunch break (shorter duration of 4 hours) and a maximum of 25 people in your group.
- St. Mark’s Basilica can be subject to closures due to particular liturgical celebrations, especially during major religious holidays such as Easter or Christmas. In the event that the Basilica is closed, explanations will be provided from the outside.
- Please note: This tour offers multiple options. Take a moment to choose the one that best suits your interests.

The tour was okay but pricey for what we got. The gondola ride was what we enjoyed most, but didn’t love that we had to share a gondola with another couple given how much we spent on the tour. The guide, Pamela, was friendly and knowledgeable, although hard to understand at times. We saw and learned new things, but feel that the price point was high for what we received.

Great, but action packed, day. A little overwhelming for my partner but a great way to see all the major attractions in an efficient way. Might want to build in a few more break opportunities. For instance first toilet break was three hours in and for an early morning tour after my morning coffee was very welcome!
Our tour guide Alessandro was very knowledgeable on the history of Venice, having been a history professor for over 30 years. He provided great insights during our walking tour of the city, and then tremendous detail of our tour of St. Mark’s and the Doge Palace
Mosi was an outstanding guide.. One of the best we've ever had. He was so engaging and passionate about his city and he shared great insight about the people and history of Venice. He had many interesting stories to tell as well! We highly recommend this tour!!

The 360-minute tour is desirable because one gets to learn about and experience many aspects of wonderful Venice. It is a long walk (with many rest opportunities), so the traveler should be ready for that. And be aware and prepared for the day's weather forecast.

This was an amazing tour! Martina was extremely thorough, knowledgeable, and engaging. The walking tour through the quieter, lesser-seen parts of Venice was fascinating. Learning about how the buildings were constructed, Venice’s historic financial centres, and what everyday life was like in the city was amazing.
St. Mark’s Basilica was beautiful. It was very busy, but I think that’s pretty much unavoidable given how popular it is.
Doge’s Palace was surprisingly my favourite part of the tour. Martina is clearly very passionate about art and history, and her knowledge of the artwork throughout the palace really brought everything to life.
All in all, an amazing and seriously informative tour. I’d highly recommend it, especially for fellow history nuts!

There were lots of stairs, but the guide Filipino tried his best to give us breaks . He is extremely knowledgeable about the history of Venice!! I enjoyed the humour that he brought to the experience. The gondola ride was about 30 minutes. Just enough time to get the flavour of a ride on the grand canal.
Show up prepared and read the entry requirements. Good long tour with breaks to grab a snack or drink. Denise was incredible!
My husband and I booked this tour as something to do on our honeymoon. We had a great time! Our tour guide Pamela is such a people person. She made the tour fun and personable. She explained all the history in a way where you don’t want her to stop. The tour was completely on foot which normally you can feel the 6hrs. But Pamela gave us a decent amount of rest stops so we can use the facilities or grab water and her story telling skills keep you distracted from the walk.
I’ve been on a few tours now and this was our favorite in Italy.
Great day in Venice! Our guide Denise was fantastic! She explained everything from history to how the city was built! She guided us gently without feeling of being rushed. Our gondola drives was also informative and attentive.

Grazia was a kind and incredibly knowledgeable tour guide. The walking tour of Venice and gondola ride were great - I actually wish we could’ve spent more time walking around Venice and learning about the city. St. Mark’s Basilica and Doge’s Palace was very information and history heavy - we spent an hour at Doge’s Palace which was longer than we needed.
