Very easy and very efficient. We just followed the green signs that said water Taxi. It was about a 10 minute walk very easy. the boat driver., was pleasant. I’m very organized. I highly recommend this way to get to your hotel from the Venice airport.

Lovely to arrive in Venice at a reasonable cost. We had a short wait (15 mins) before leaving the terminal. We shared the ride with two other couples and it was a comfortable experience. We were delivered right outside our hotel though it would be advisable to check this in advance.

What To Expect

Getting from Venice Marco Polo Airport to your hotel or private residence can be complicated, but it doesn’t have to be. This convenient boat transfer (for a minimum of two people) takes all the hassle out of renting a car or paying for a taxi boat after a flight.

Just enter your details when you book, and your shared transfer is confirmed instantly. When you land, show your voucher to the driver and hop inside the boat. Where possible, the boat will alter its route to allow you to get off at the nearest stop to your hotel. Read the Itinerary for a list of stops.

What a wonderful way to get where you need to go in beautiful Venice. We had a little trouble finding the meeting point at first, but aside from that everything was excellent. Our driver was fun, kind, and very helpful throughout the trip. We would definitely book again the next time we’re in Venice..

Once we found the service desk, it was smooth sailing from there. At the time of our travel we found them at service desk 71 on level 2 of the airport. The desk recently moved from level 1 to level 2. The gentleman at the service desk was very kind and our driver was great. We took the boat to Rialto.

Not what we are used to

A little disappointed to is time. Driver went around the city and dropped us off first. They usually drive us through the city and drop us off last. We really missed seeing the beautiful city.

Easy and fast

Relatively easy to find in the airport. It is one level up from arrivals at window number 71, then a 5 min walk right to the boat. They only drop you off on the grand canal so a bit of walking is needed if you are booked inside Venice.

It was difficult to find the organization that would change our voucher to tickets for the water taxi. Viator didn’t send the information and people at the Venice airport didn’t know. It took us almost an hour going to different places until we found the right window. Very frustrating. Viator should send an email with the name of the tour group that takes their vouchet

Easy transfer

Transfer was quick and easy! Once you get out of customs on the ground floor, go up to floor 1, past security, and Desk 71 is right before you head to the docks. It was a snug fit with the rest of the group on the boat, but nothing too bothersome. The driver was friendly enough and got us to where we needed to be. Would recommend!

It was good. We walked all the way to the boat area following the water transport signs but then realised the desk was before the automatic walkway. We then had to walk back 10 min to the desk and the. 10 min back to the water. But we should have read the instructions but a desk at the water would be good.

Very easy and well organised. Go to 1st floor at airport and follow signs for dock/water taxis and desk 71 is right at the end. Check in and wait in seated area opposite until called by name.

No signage to show us where to go. Walked for an hour. Asked 10 people for directions. Ended up paying $150 for private taxi. Requesting a credit for not using this service. Absolutely could not find the dock for this.

Very smooth transfer right to our hotel door. We were slightly concerned as our flight was delayed (we did ring to alert them to this) and then it took ages (nearly 2hrs - 1 star, to get through customs) in the end though this didn’t create a problem. Very happy with the service provided.

Stress free way to Venice from the airport!

Completely stress free and easy to navigate to from baggage claim to check in desk (#71 near exit) to dock. A shared ride with other tired and excited travelers kept it fun, and a little preview of the city as you float through the grand canal and exit at the dock nearest to your hotel. Much appreciated!

Good mode of transport between airport and hotel. A bit daunting being dropped at a pier in the dark even if you do have a map. Timings on pickup were delayed causing some what concern to ensure we got to the airport on time. Tried to contact via message but ended up phoning and was told that taxi was delayed. Would be good to be informed of this prior via Whats App or similar to elevate concerns. Still got to the airport on time and all went smoothly.

A very efficient service, the Viator desk was easy to find. Our flight was late arriving 2030 the lady at the desk was very friendly. The water taxi was waiting for us and delivered us to our hotel on Murano.
