Great day from beginning to end. The towns are gorgeous and our tour guide Thomaso was fantastic. He was knowledgeable about the area and its history without being boring. He gave us time to stroll through the towns and to enjoy lunch. Ask for Thomaso, he is the best! You will have an absolute blast with him as your tour guide.

It was such an unforgettable experience that was enjoyed by all. Prior to the trip I communicated with Luca (owner of the transfer service) & he was very helpful in customizing our trip to ensure we got to see everything that was in our list! Luca went above & beyond & arranged a private wine pairing in Tuscany for us.

The trip to Cinque Terra was incredible despite the rainy weather most of the trip. Marco, our driver and tour guide was fantastic and very, very helpful. We were able to visit 3 of the 5 villages and even able to get on the ferry although we were told it was not running due to the weather. The ferry was a nice experience. Marco made some nice recommendations for food, shopping, and best spots for views.
We will definitely visit Cinque Terra again (hopefully for longer).
Ask for Marco, he definitely made the trip better!

Nunzia was an amazing tour guide. Despite the poor weather, he showed us the three towns in Cinque Terre. He has great recommendations and he is very knowledgeable about the area. When the train schedule was impacted by the track problem, he stayed in touch with us so we can keep our communications and meet up after lunch. Cinque Terre is truly an amazing place to visit, we had a blast even it was a rainy day.
We were able to stop by Pisa at the end of the day to get some tourist pictures, and when it started to rain, he was so nice to bring us umbrella! Truly a caring and wonderful guide.
I would highly recommend anyone to take this tour and really appreciate the professionalism of Nunzia to make our day memorable.

The trip was amazing. We had a great time. We saw three towns. The lunch was absolutely spectacular. Had a fabulous table overlooking both the town and the Mediterranean. The food was outstanding. Our driver could not have been better. Tommaso was a great guide and driver. He was very personable, knowledgeable, friendly and engaging. We would come see him again. Super awesome day.

This three-star rating is in no way a reflection on Nunzio, our driver for the day—he was excellent. The rating is based on the way the tour itself was presented. The website advertised it as a private tour, but in reality, the only private portion was the car ride.
Once we arrived in Cinque Terre we had time to explore the charming village on our own. From there, we boarded the first ferry (tickets not included) to the next town, where we again explored independently. All in all the ferry provided great views at the additional expense. A restaurant was suggested, and while the views were absolutely beautiful, the meal itself did not stand out—there were many other options nearby that would have been a better fit.
Another point to mention: for two travelers on a five-hour trip, it would have been more fitting to provide a comfortable luxury car. Instead, we were placed in a larger van designed to hold up to nine.
In short, travelers should know that this experience is more of a private transfer rather than a guided, all-inclusive tour. For the price point (around $1,000), it’s important to understand you’re essentially paying for transportation and the freedom to explore on your own.

Dear Tammy, thank you for the kind review, I am sorry to hear it was not a five stars experience as we wish to deliver every day. It is a good opportunity to give more details on the way we work, although your description of the tour is not a realistic representation of the tour you experienced with Nunzio.
Firstly, let me reassure you that you do have been experiencing a private tour, at least if we agree that “private“ means not shared, I do not recall reading there were more people added to your party. Once we agree with that, if it was a simple transfer like you say in the title of this review, you would have not be having a guide walking with you (the one you mentioned Nunzio, you should remember he was walking with you ) in the first two villages, also during the ferry ride and finally taking care of you until when you were sitting at the table of the restaurant that we suggested. If this can be defined as a simple transfer and not being private tour I am not sure any more of these words meaning, since you were on your own ONLY at lunch and before meeting your guide again in the last village.
Regarding the tickets, as you correctly said they are not included in the rate (as clearly described in the tour description) also because the tour runs all year around, the boats are not always available and not everybody wants to ride on them.
We are sorry that you did not enjoy the restaurant we suggested, please let me stress we have suggested it for many years on the base of the feedback of our clients, which is mostly enthusiastic.
Regarding your preference (not expressed unfortunately by you at time of booking) for a smaller car rather than a minivan, it could be a more cozy ride, but there is not anything more luxury than a Mercedes minivan on the market, this the car brand what we used I believe 99,5% for the reliability, comfort and flexibility, anyway hopefully we will offer an option for sedan car in future.
So, thanks again for sharing your experience, we will treasure it, but I would not agree that the description of the tour you joined was fully correct in many points, we will continue putting all our efforts to improve everyday but defining it a transfer has not been intellectually honest.

Overall the experience was fantastic and our driver, Nunizo was great! However, there are a few things to know that was not clear in the itinerary. (1) The town stops were different than specified (and this was actually a blessing); our stops were: Manarola, Vernazza where we had lunch, and Monterosso. Monterosoos was not on the initial itinerary but was actually all 8 of our parties (from the US) FAVORITE and everyone agreed we wished we HAD ONLY stopped at this town. (2) The private tour is not a "drop-off" off to each town... you must take either the train or the ferry to get to each location, which is actually nice, yet it takes a significant amount of time away from (about 30 mins between each) enjoying the towns. The ferry cost was $15 for the first and $10 euro for the second ferry. (3) The beach area and more relaxed/less busy but clean and more updated town was Monterosso (which was not on the tour itinerary). Sadly, when we arrived via the ferry we didn't have but 15 mins (not the 1.5 hrs that is stated) to enjoy the cute shops, etc. (4) The added stop to Pisa was well worth it rather than making it a separate day (not a lot to do at this location other than a very difficult to get cool photo opportunity). The driver was awesome to get us super CLOSE so we didn't need to walk a lot. OVERALL a fantastic tour ... but would RECOMMEND for anyone else doing a private tour to just do the town of MONTEROSSO ... if you want to add a ferry tour to see the charming towns from the water see which is easiest and only do two towns.

First, you are right there is not such a thing as a unique itinerary for this tour and I would say it is a required condition for such a beautiful but complex tour.
We have been touring Cinque Terre for many years in all possible combinations of itineraries, fine tuning it to make sure we can offer the best experience to everyone. We take many elements into account, the time of the year, the different options of transportation, weather, and most importantly our clients expectations. We understood that a general description of the tour is required, but it can be used only as a draft to be adapted, almost daily. It would not be feasible otherwise offering a real personable experience. Regarding Pisa is an optional stop we cannot guarantee every day, next time make sure that beside the usual photo opportunity of the Leaning Tower, you can check the Cathedral and the Monumental Cemetery they are breathtaking , there would be many more corners of Pisa that would surprise you. So we hope to see you again soon in Tuscany!

This was our second experience with this tour company both of them exemplary experiences. Today was the women of our family including the matriarch “superboss”, Luca was their guide. They had lunch at a wonderful restaurant on the water in Verranza and then proceeded to Monte Rosso. Luca was exceptionally accommodating to their shopping schedule which delayed their return. It was another terrific day in the Cinque Terre!

The normal Cinque Terre is less ambitious and for most this is appropriate but for our group of all guys we wanted to hike. To the credit of our guide Tomoso and the tour company, they allowed us to customize our tour and helped us craft an agenda to suit our interests. It was a great day in the Cinque Terre!

We signed up for a private tour for my husband and myself. We were picked up by a very comfortable minivan at our hotel. Our driver and guid Tomasso had a lot to say about the history of Florence during our drive to cinque terre. We walked with him to the very first stop at cinque terre. We took beautiful photos and Tomasso took photos of us. Then we bought our tickets for our first ferry ride to Vernazza and we had a table waiting for us at the top of the restaurant overlooking the water. We had a nice lunch there and saw all the people jumping off the cliff rocks to the beautiful clear water below. After our lunch we had time and we jumped in the water ourselves. We waited I line for our next ferry to Monterosso. And after a few minutes walk we had about 30 minutes for some refreshments and Tomasso was waiting for us with the van. On the way back to Florence, Tomasso had 3 songs we learned to sing in Italian! He had so much passion and patience in teaching us every syllable and meaning to the words. This was the highlight of my trip that I will never forget. To learn the words and meaning to Pavoritti’s Nessun Dorma and “volare” was magical!

We recently took a private day tour of Cinque Terre and the Leaning Tower of Pisa from Florence with Nunzio, and I cannot say enough good things about the experience. Traveling with my family—including my 80-year-old mother—I was a bit concerned about the pace and logistics of the trip. But from the moment we met Nunzio, all worries disappeared.
Nunzio was incredibly meticulous and thoughtful in every aspect of the day. He helped my mother in and out of the spotless Mercedes van at every stop, always making sure she was comfortable and well-cared for. The van itself was immaculate, air-conditioned to the perfect temperature, and stocked with cold bottled water for all of us—just one of many small but appreciated touches.
Throughout the journey, Nunzio shared fascinating stories and historical details about every region we passed. His knowledge of the area—and passion for sharing it—elevated the entire experience. In Cinque Terre, he accompanied us from village to village, ensuring we saw the most beautiful spots, avoided crowds when possible, and had time to really enjoy each location.
He even arranged lunch at a fantastic restaurant in Vernazza with stunning views overlooking the sea—hands down one of the best meals of our trip. Nunzio also took us to the best viewpoints for photos and encouraged us to slow down, take it all in, and enjoy the magic of the coastline.
From start to finish, Nunzio went above and beyond. His professionalism, warmth, deep knowledge of the region, and genuine care for our comfort made this tour one of the highlights of our Italy trip.

Luca was lovely. We got to see three of the five Cinque Terre villages, which felt a bit hectic—there was a lot of driving—but had some picture-perfect moments along the way. And I would have gladly made the trip just for the memorable, once-in-a-lifetime lunch experience Luca arranged for us, which was the highlight of our entire trip to Italy. This extraordinary restaurant spot includes a private table tucked into a nook carved into a cliff with a spectacular view overlooking the sea. As a bonus, the local food was great and the waiter was a blast, too .

We had a wonderful day with Marco. He made sure we knew exactly where to go at each of our stops and handled our lunch reservation at a scenic and tasty location. He was the perfect blend of informative, but not overbearing in any way and answered all questions and shared information but also let us lead the pace of the tour. We had a party of 7 and we all had a wonderful day. I especially appreciated that Marco was a safe and confident driver on sometimes challenging roads. We all highly recommend this trip and Marco.

Tomasso was a fabulous guide! He was knowledgeable, personable, and very entertaining. While our original plans were affected by a port closure, he quickly shifted the plan so that we could still see everything on the agenda. The free Italian lesson was educational and so much fun!! Not to mention he has a great singing voice!! We highly recommend this tour!!

We had a great tour with Let's Andiamo to Cinque Terre. Nunzio was our driver and he was very accommodating and knowledgeable. He picked our family up from our hotel at 8:15 am and we had a comfortable ride in the tour van. We ended up with some horrible rain through the day which dampened our visit but Nunzio offered his umbrellas as well as his own jacket to my daughter's to try and improve the day. While the day tour itself felt a bit rushed as it is a long drive from Florence to Cinque Terre, Nunzio made everything work well and was happy to adjust the day to suit our needs. We decided to add on Pisa and he was happy to do that as well (for a extra fee for the extra hour). Overall, if you have just one day and want to squeeze in Cinque Terre, I highly recommend the tour company and Nunzio as a guide.

From the moment we met Nunzio, he made us feel like family. He was extremely knowledgeable not only about Cinque Terre, but about every town we passed through along the way. So much fun. He made us a lunch reservation where we had a wonderful meal with a view that was absolutely breathtaking over the Mediterranean Sea. Booking a tour is a hit or miss for me because there are so many and I never know how it will turn out. I chose this Cinque Terre tour based on the brief description and price, and it turned out to be a real winner.
Out of all the private and group tour guides we’ve had through Get Your Guide, Viator and hotel concierges, our guide on this tour, Mateo, was one of the best.
What Mateo did well:
-safe driving-did not drive dangerously fast like most guides do. Mateo did not speed nor come to hard stops
-found us a bathroom right away each time we asked
-walked at our pace and consistently asked us if we were fine and needed a break
-gave us great background on Cinque Terre’s history, culture, economy, etc. We were impressed by how knowledgeable Mateo was not only on Cinque Terre but the area in general
-took us on paths off the crowed main streets and showed awesome photo spots with no tourists around
-reserved us the best table for lunch at a cliff top restaurant in Vernazza
-spoke perfect English
-answered all our questions patiently
- guided us the entire way but also gave us our space.
It was an all day tour but we felt relaxed and had a great time. We really believe it was because Mateo was so helpful, informative and easy to be around.
Next time we are back in Florence, I plan on booking a tour with this operator again so I can request for Mateo.

we were spending a few days in Florence as a family, but wanted to make a day trip to Cinque Terre to do some exploring. We looked at train options, but saw that it would take over three hours with all of the connections, so we decided to book the private tour and so glad we did. The van was very comfortable and Tomasso was a wonderful guide - so friendly and knowledgeable about the area and much of the Tuscan region as well. He and the company owner were very accommodating to us as a private group - we wanted to do some formal touring but also some independent hiking and he adjusted the itinerary accordingly. We got to explore Corniglia and Manarola, do a 3 mile hike, and experience the fast train between the different towns. Especially if you have limited time, highly recommend this option!!
