Well worth it

Everything was great. The crew were all very helpful and friendly. I recommend that you wear the boots that they provide, unless you have very well insulated boots. My feet got quite cold. The meal was hot soup and bread, which was tasty and filling. The winter overalls kept me nicely warm.

Highly recommended

We had an amazing experience with our guides, Elon, Peter, and the third guide whose name I unfortunately forgot. They were all incredibly knowledgeable and made the tour truly enjoyable. Despite the cloudy weather, they went above and beyond to find us a clear spot so we could witness the Northern Lights. A big thank you to them! An absolute must experience

This is an incredible experience and a true highlight of our trip to Norway. I was travelling with my husband and his family. My father in law is 77 and managed this no problem but he is very physically strong. The dogs are wonderful and the explanation and hospitality that was shown by our hosts was top notch. The scenery was beautiful and we just loved every moment of it.

Amazing experience.

What an amazing experience!! Firstly, the most important thing with this activity is the dogs. It was stressed to us during the briefing that happy people mean happy dogs, shown how to pet the dogs, how to make sure they were safe etc. When we got to the dog farm, each dog had their own kennel, with space around it and looked well cared for. The briefing was very comprehensive and Anna made sure everyone was clear on what they needed to do. Thermal suits, gloves etc were all available, and once suited up we headed to the dog farm and met our dog team with strict instructions to cuddle and make sure we were comfortable before we headed out. The scenery around Tromso Husky was spectacular and we were soon wizzing along. When we got back to the Husky Farm we spent more time with the dogs before heading back to the base camp, and having hot drinks and soup. As well as being a great experience to do, this trip was so well organised, and ran by lovely people who obviously care a great deal about the dogs.

I cannot speak highly enough about our experience with this Juliane and Marteen! Marteen is a fabulous driver & Juliane went above and beyond to make sure we saw had the best chance of seeing the lights. They did not appear the first two hours and he was able to project that they would appear by midnight and they most definitely did with a surreal show. Juliane is very passionate about the lights and has an abundance of knowledge and experience with them. I would most definitely travel again with these two to get another glimpse. We also had the nice campfire and he went above and beyond to get amazing pictures of us. His photography skills are by far the best as northern lights can be tricky to get. Thank you so much Juliane and Marteen for this once in a lifetime experience!

Amazing views

We were very lucky to have clear skies and th northern lights showed up early (7-9pm) and left by the time our hands and feet started getting too cold. We had the whole campfire experience with hot chocolate, sausages over a bonfire and amazing pictures from the tour. There were some hiccups with the bus towards the end but it was handled well by Isabel, Dak and our driver

Doint miss this one !!

This was an amazing Northern Lights tour ! Thomas was our group leader and was very knowledgeable about the Northern Lights and activity . The bus was not hot with all of our gear on , and he was well organized on campfire activities . We saw the lights … they were amazing all around us the pictures he took was also amazing !! Reindeer sledding

Reindeer sledding was so much fun. I chose this adventure through Viator because of the length of the sledding experience. It was much longer than any I had seen. We had fun first feeding the reindeer and then being pulled through a beautiful snowy pastureland overlooking a fjord. Afterwards we learned about the Sami people and enjoyed a lunch of reindeer stew. There was a small gift shop on the property with unique items to remember this day by. This is a “must do” experience.

A must do!

Myself and my husband absolutely loved this experience. It was so well organised. Meeting at the bus station in Tromsø, a short drive outside of the city. We were so welcomed and learned about the Sami Culture, heard stories and tradition songs, fed the gorgeous reindeer and got a lovely meal cosied up by the fire!
