We had a blast snowmobiling. The scenery was gorgeous and the trail was amazing. Highly recommended. Note it is a decently long day: 9a-about 4p (bus arrived at bust station around 415p for use) if you're planning a Northern Lights tour afterwards.

Our booking was messed up by Norwegian travel company which meant we arrived for our trip to be told there was no space for us. We were gutted. They were very apologetic and issued a full refund but sadly we had a very poor experience

The whole experience is very well organised. Our snowmobile instructor Victor was extremely helpful and very friendly. The views are spectacular and we spent a good 90minutes on the snowmobiles through the picturesque Tamokdalen valley, stopping occasionally for photos. The Camp itself was well staffed with all the usual facilities and the soups on offer were incredibly tasty. The entrance to the snow park and domes is impressively enticing but costs extra to enter which we did not do on this visit. All in all it made for an exceptionally enjoyable day

We hoped for sunny weather with great views -- we had 20 knot winds and snow, but still had a great time!! My 18 year old has wanted to snowmobile forever, so we surprised him with a trip out and he loved it. We did too. It was fun to ride with another person and share the experience. I rode with a woman from London who had never seen snow before! The gear was very warm, the instructor and guide was very experienced, and the meal afterward in the laavu was lovely. We had lamb stew with carrots and potatoes, coffee, tea, hot blackberry drink, and stories about the region.

The snowmobiles were fun and the guide was friendly. However, we were definitely not snowmobiling for 2 hours like it says in the description. Our group spent more time getting ready and taking photos than we spent riding, which was disappointing for us. Of course the guides want to satisfy everyone, however I feel that they could’ve sped up the photo taking process and took us further out than they did. Furthermore, the description specifically says that we go to a Lake. We did not get to the lake and when we asked why we were told that “the path is closed during December and January”. This was very disappointing because the ride felt so short, and we booked thinking that we were going further out and to a lake. This is another thing the guides can’t control, however they should put this in the description that it is closed during these months and that the ride was shorter. Overall, the tour was decent and the lunch was nice. However, I didn’t feel that satisfied with the length of the tour & I don’t feel we got the experience they advertised in the description. Personally, I would recommend shopping around with other tours if you want more of an adventurous experience. If you’re more into photo taking & taking is slow, this could be great💓
