Highly recommended activity and company

Lights of Vikings is a smaller, family-owned company. The guides and other staff are awesome: super friendly, enthusiastic and good in communication. The activity itself (snowmobile) was so much fun. We loved every second of it. The guide took us on a beautiful trail with a little stop halfway to have a warm beverage and cookies. The snowmobiles were brand new and very comfortable to drive. An extra shout-out to Onur who promised us it would be fun and he was right: it was so much fun! Not only because of the activity but because he has a great personality and can make everyone enthusiastic about something. Great talent!

Excellent snowshoe trek

Snowshoe walking is certainly different to anything we’ve done before. Our guide Anders was excellent his English was perfect and he was very informative. The whole experience lasted about three hours and included stopping for biscuits and hot lingonberry juice around a camp fire.

I would 100% recommend

They pick you up within city limits of Kiruna and bring you to the Stejk Street Food for your dinner. The people are very nice and the food is just delicious! I would recommend the lingonberryjuice :) After that you can get warmer jackets to wear over your own one - take it! The tourguides decide on the evening where to drive and will hunt those northern lights for you! We drove to several beautiful spots and the guides really tried their best. In the end we saw them and it was beautiful! We also lit a fire and drank some hot juice and ate some cookies - the experience overall was beautiful in beautiful nature! The guides also tell you more about the culture and nature (how to start a fire, warm cold feet, deers and moose, aurora, ....) I will recommend this tour to my friends as I think they really care about you and will make you feel welcome all night! a little unplanned plus: we saw a reindeer on our way back to Kiruna - what a lucky find!

We had an incredible time on the afternoon snowmobile tour, and it was truly one of the highlights of our trip. Our guide Anastasia was amazing — incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and thorough when explaining how to safely operate the snowmobile. She made sure everyone felt confident and comfortable before we headed out. This tour is perfect for adrenaline junkies! You have the chance to go really fast across the frozen lake, which was such a rush and so much fun. As if that wasn’t enough, we were lucky enough to witness the aurora, which made the experience absolutely unforgettable. 10/10 — we would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for adventure, stunning scenery, and an expertly guided experience!

The dog sledding adventure was incredibly fun and well organised.
