Top Tromso Day Trips

We had a real blast. Jordan and Cristobal were our guides for the night. We drove an our our of Tromsø, got our gear an set camp for the night. After about 45 minutes the sky cleared and we had nearly 6 hours straight of northern lights. Jordan told ours that we got very lucky and explained a lot to all of us. In the end we did not want to go back. It was a perfect trip. Thank you.

What an amazing experience!! Firstly, the most important thing with this activity is the dogs. It was stressed to us during the briefing that happy people mean happy dogs, shown how to pet the dogs, how to make sure they were safe etc. When we got to the dog farm, each dog had their own kennel, with space around it and looked well cared for. The briefing was very comprehensive and Anna made sure everyone was clear on what they needed to do. Thermal suits, gloves etc were all available, and once suited up we headed to the dog farm and met our dog team with strict instructions to cuddle and make sure we were comfortable before we headed out. The scenery around Tromso Husky was spectacular and we were soon wizzing along. When we got back to the Husky Farm we spent more time with the dogs before heading back to the base camp, and having hot drinks and soup. As well as being a great experience to do, this trip was so well organised, and ran by lovely people who obviously care a great deal about the dogs.

We were very lucky to have clear skies and th northern lights showed up early (7-9pm) and left by the time our hands and feet started getting too cold. We had the whole campfire experience with hot chocolate, sausages over a bonfire and amazing pictures from the tour. There were some hiccups with the bus towards the end but it was handled well by Isabel, Dak and our driver
