Fantastic experience 100% because of our guide. I appreciate the elusiveness of the lights more than I had prior to the trip. Our guide was passionate about getting us a good view- which was noticeable when we were near other groups (how much better this trip was). It took us across Norway and down into Finland - we did not see any activity until around midnight. The lights were active and we ended up with a great show. We did get back around 2:30am, but worth it. Highly recommend this tour!

Kamil, our guide, was wonderful!! He stopped several times along the way for us to snap pictures of the Lights. And then when he set up our campsite, he took pictures of us with the lights as background!! They were amazing! He made sure everyone got plenty of pictures and had a wonderful time!!!
A charming host. Educational and entertaining, lights were magnificent. Love the "onesies"... would not have lasted the evening without it!
Wonderful excursion with Yeray. Found us a great spot - helped keep us warm - fed us - and we saw some beautiful lights. Now just waiting for the photos he took on his professional camera. Thanks!
We were lucky to see the Northern Lights, and the driver made a genuine effort to maximise our chances despite difficult weather conditions. He ensured we got there and back safely with hotel drop-off and was persistent in taking photos of us with the lights, even in the extreme cold and wind.
The main downside was the lack of communication, as the driver was also the tour guide and provided little explanation or direction throughout the evening. We were often unsure what was happening next, and many questions went unanswered. While the cold and wind were not the company’s fault, thermal suits were not offered. The van itself was very cold, and dinner was minimal, consisting only of bread and sausages cooked over the fire ourselves.
Given the €300 per person price (the same for children), this felt like poor value, and we would have preferred a similar experience on a larger bus for less money, as the small group still felt impersonal.
Excellent. I have joined this company twice. Both time they managed to get clear skies out of light pollution when it was overcast at Tromso. Northern lights were clearly visible both times, but super strong on the second time thanks to the solar activity. Very nice pictures taken at the event.
Really well organised, lovely tour guide who clearly loved his job and his positivity and enthusiasm were infectious.
Great group size and good local knowledge of where to see the lights. Always on the look out for us for photo opportunities, willing to drive to wherever was best so that we could experience them.

A truly magical experience, Kamil was an excellent guide and our fire by the fjord a great place to see the Auora Borealis in full glory
Wow! It was incredible! Our guide Kamil made this a night we will never forget. The lights were dancing from the minute we arrived. He made sure we got to see the Northern Lights do their thing and also made sure we had amazing pictures to capture it all. His genuine excitement and energy added to the experience. Truly spectacular. He then took the time to explain how it all happens. The fire was perfect, we cooked and enjoyed hot dogs, had snacks, drinks, and an amazing once in a lifetime experience. Highly recommend!!!!
Amazing experience! Although not guaranteed we got lucky and saw the lights! Our tour guide, Hassan was wonderful! So knowledgeable, kept stopping at different places to check the weather and kept us well fed with chocolate and biscuits! Small tour, only 10 people on the minibus which was perfect! The hot chocolate, tea and baileys whilst sitting on the beach at mid night watching the lights was a very nice experience! As a solo traveller I felt safe, was welcomed by Hassan and was dropped off outside my hotel at the end of the tour. Would I do this tour again………….absolutely!
I booked the tour in the morning on the same day, but the operator missed the booking. Thankfully, there were two empty spots, so we were able to join. The weather was perfect, and missing the northern lights would’ve been a real shame.
The meeting point listed on Viator was confusing, stating "Fredrik Langes Gate" without clear details. The coordinates provided led us far from the actual meeting point, which is outside the **Scandic Ishavshotel**. We panicked when the tour operator didn’t answer our calls, and Viator wasn’t helpful. Luckily, we made it due to a time change we weren’t informed about. We asked around along the street, thinking we had missed the tour since it was already 30 minutes past the original time. Finally, we found the tour operator. The operator later gave us a 10% refund.
Despite these hiccups, the tour was incredible. Hassan worked hard to ensure we saw the northern lights, and the bonfire added a magical touch. It was an unforgettable experience.

Our guide Marius was very nice and experienced. Unfortunately we went on the tour on a quite cloudy night, but Marius went to different places so we could see the lights. The campfire part was interesting as well, we had hotdogs and hot chocolate, but the weather was too cold (-10C) for us to stay still for too long. But still we loved this tour and would definitely recommend this.
Tour guide are so fun. Icing was seeing extra magnificent Northern lights show. Guides stopped when first saw the lights then took us to a fabulous location with mountains all around to watch Aurora dance all night. They even brought sparklers for New Year’s Eve and fireworks though we didn’t need them. The lights were a spectacular fireworks show. Lucky we only had to drive 30min as it was an unusually clear starry night. Definitely recommend this guide group snow travels. So special!! Oh ya and roasted our own sausages.
We recommended this turn for anyone that wants to see the northern light , the spot was amazing we get lucky to see many of them with a perfect weather. I want to thank a lot our guide, for taking care of us moreover transmitting all his knowledge about nature , and about his great love of Norway.
