Excellent Adventure!
The chef John was really excellent! The atmosphere was also very contemporary and classy. There was an accident the caused no taxis to be able to get to our ship for two hours after we docked, so my husband and I had to walk over 90 minutes in the heat (got in over 15,000 steps), but it was worth it in the end. I was texted asking where I was when we were about 20 minutes late as we went to the Viator address of the market (really a door near it with some sign that made it seem like we were victims of a hoax, especially as the number Viator had for this resulted in a “scam likely” message telling us to hang up, so Viator needs to correct their info); on Sundays, you meet directly at the cooking class location, and I had that in my phone calendar, but was unfortunately using the Viator app ticket to direct us.
Anyway, they waited for us to arrive before starting to cook (others had chopped fruits for the sangria and veggies for the veggie paella), and we lucked out in having two delightful couples to take this class with.
John served us cava as soon as we sat down, and there were already tapas on the table. It was all just so relaxed and also informative (like I learned not to use orange juice in white sangria, not that I ever had, but it is interesting to know it just isn’t a good idea).
John and his assistant just couldn’t have been nicer. It was a great experience for celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary!

Really fun, educational and delicious cooking experience
This was a great time. Highly recommended. Our guide and instructor, Olivera, made the whole experience really fun as well as informative and instructional. 5 stars to her and the whole experience. And, it ends with a wonderful meal prepared by the whole team.

Wonderful and Engaging Experience
Chef Eduardo made this such a great experience! We visited a mercado where we chose ingredients and spoke with local vendors. Then back in the kitchen we cleaned veggies, cut and cooked paella mixta, gazpacho and sangria undr the chef’s expert direction. Chef was magnificent, organized and knowledgable! The

Loved, Loved This Experience!
So, so much fun! One of the highlights of our trip! The hosts were awesome and very knowledgeable! They were very communicative and flexible. The wine tasting was awesome, too! And we enjoyed sitting down to dinner afterwards! We made a lot of new friends!

Must try! Highly recommended. 10/10
Highly recommended, the best way to experience València paella history and cooking fun! Really well organised, easy to find the meeting spot, the guide and hosts were 10/10! Relaxing and friendly atmosphere throughout; the kitchen was well equipped and with air conditioning; I went with my 14 years old son and we thoroughly enjoyed it! Great value for money.

This was so much fun! We...
This was so much fun! We first visited the market where we learned how to distinguish fresh seafood. We headed back to the kitchen where they started off with some delicious appetizers and made sangria from scratch. The class was very interactive and hands on, with plenty of food for everyone. I wish I remembered the chefs names but they were incredible. Must do while in Spain!

Fabulous cooking class in Palma
This is a must do! Flavia was an amazing chef that taught us 5 Spanish dishes. We all made them from scratch, had explanations on how to make at home, given recipes for each dish, and had THE BEST time cooking! This was my favorite activity I did in Spain. Recommend for groups, couples, or even solo! Cannot recommend enough!!

Fun and delicious
Wonderful experience! Chef Ivan was informative and fun! It was a pleasure spending the afternoon with travelers from England, Canada, and east and West coasts of the US. Delicious paella and sangria!
Thank you for rescheduling our date. Very accommodating!

Very fun and informative
This is a great way to learn about the Triana market and learn to make a few Spanish dishes! The teachers were funny and helpful and informative, and the whole experience was really pleasant. Our food turned out delicious and I felt a bit more connected to Spain as a result. Would certainly do it again next time the opportunity comes up, and recommend it without hesitation.

Amazing food, very fun!
Wish we could give more than 5 stars! The cooking class was equal parts informative and fun. Maria explained all the steps thoroughly and made sure to involve us the whole time. This was such a special part of our trip and would highly recommend! The food was delicious and exceeded expectations!

There was even dancing
We were looking for something a little different to do in the evening and we got this one really right. Dara, our mixologist, was very informative, entertaining and fun. We had a great time. We picked up some tips and tricks and there was even impromptu dancing. I would highly recommend this activity.

Best cooking class
This is the most wonderful cooking class. Marco was so welcoming and engaging. We had a group of 14 people and everyone enjoyed the experience and the food was delicious!! Thoroughly recommend going here!
Marco was exceptionally knowledgeable and took time to explain the history and the process before cooking. His approach was enlightening.
