What are people saying about Sintra

An amazing experience
We learned so much from our very knowledgeable guide. Bart was super friendly, accommodating and adjusted according to our groups’ ability levels and ensured everyone was safe. He knew the best places to take pictures, recommended restaurants and was able to answer every question our group had.

Wonderful Tour
Bruno was our tour guide. He picked us up promptly when he said he would and we had a wonderful tour of Sintra and Cascais. Even with poor weather we saw everything on our itinerary. Nicely paced and some great conversation. We would absolutely book with Bruno again.

Best Sintra tour by FAR
Bruno was by far the best tour guide we have ever had. Extremely knowledgeable very pleasant to chat with made us feel like family right from the get go. We went through every part of Sintra Palace with excellent information and show us this I had never seen in watching hours and hours of YouTube videos. His recommendations for lunch were great. We had the most authentic and tasty tuna steak sandwich and octopus so far on our trip. If you are looking for the best Sintra tour then book with Bruno. You will finish the day feeling like you really saw Sintra and were treated like a king and queen.

If you come to Lisbon you...
If you come to Lisbon you must take this tour with Mauro!
I have been on tours all over the world and this was one of my favorites because of his knowledge about Portugal! I am so happy we decided to go with a tour vs walking around pena palace on our own.
Could not recommend this tour more!

My trip was booked on the...
My trip was booked on the day after a destructive storm hit Portugal. The mountain and attractions in Sintra were mostly closed because of the devastation. Diogo was promptly on the phone early in the morning of my tour day to discuss my options, which for me, were postpone, (not an option in my case) cancel, or a modified tour. I chose the latter and made the most of my day trip. Due to the weather I did not get to experience a classic car, but safety and comfort is more important in unstable conditions. Would love to have another opportunity to discover more of Sintra. Manuel was a gracious and kind tour guide, easy to chat to and made the day so pleasant.

Unforgettable experience in Sintra
Our private family day trip to Sintra from Lisbon was unforgettable, thanks to driver and guide Tiago!
From the start, he impressed us well-dressed, professional, and speaking slowly in simple English since we’re not natives.
Tiago is nice, friendly, talkative and informative, he loves sharing history and backgrounds of every spot.
His passion shone through! We’d shared our plans and expectations, but he totally exceeded them with lots of surprises.
Highly recommend!

Book your trip today to Sintra
I recommend starting early in the Tesla with Francisco to avoid the crowds. He asked our interests so we had a customized itinerary with plenty of walking, gardens, delicious pastries and lunch, and a variety of palaces. A superb day trip from Lisbon! So gorgeous! Francisco is a safe and knowledgable drive and patient and enthusiastic with all of our questions. Very kind and mellow soul.

A full day roundtrip by private transportation all you can experience in Porto from Lisbon-well worth the time and money
Filiipe Crespo is an excellent tour guide. Two of us first time to Portugal and have visited other cities- Lisbon, Fatima, Sintra, Cascais, Cabo de Roca so Porto was last itinerary on the list and decided to take a more "catered" tour-by private car. A comprehensive tour of Porto that lasted about 7 hours in Porto-walking tour, visit the food market, lunch, boat cruise, and port wine testing. This is a round trip tour from Lisbon to Porto. Each way is about 3 hours by car so 6 hours on the road. The Mercedes Benz 7-seater is comfortable. The total time was about 13 hours. Left hotel in Lisbon at 8 am and arrived back to hotel around 9 pm. it is a full agenda but well worth the money.

Spectacular day of natural beauty
Drive is a bit long (~2 1/2 hours each way) but an amazing day awaits... unbelievable cliffs, spectacular rock formations, a bright blue sea, memorable caves like you've probably never seen... Jorge was a wonderful guide for the day. We had a great day with him! And lunch on the beach (arranged by Jorge) was crazy delicious. We ran out of time to do everything we wanted, took so many amazing pictures... The Algarve region is a must do / don't miss on your Portugal trip... strong recommend!!
