An unforgettable day in Sintra with Bruno

My sister and I had an absolutely wonderful day exploring Sintra with Bruno as our private guide and driver, and we couldn't have asked for more. Bruno made us feel completely at ease from the start — calm, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about the area. We visited the grounds and terraces of Palácio da Pena, had free time to explore the historic center including Quinta da Regaleira and views of the National Palace, enjoyed a delicious lunch at a local restaurant, and finished the day at the breathtaking Cabo da Roca. We had a wonderful half day tour of Sintra. Last minute booking as our cruise start got delayed. Everything was perfect, on time, no waiting on lines at all. We had Bruno as our guide. We had originally booked a tour with another company and they cancelled last minute. We did a tour of Lisbon and Cascias with Alberto and Sinatra with Diogo. Both were amazing - the guides gave us a historical over view and took us to the must see sites We never would have experienced this beautiful country on our own to this degree. Private tour - Fabulous way to explore Porto.

Because of a dock workers strike our scheduled stop in Porto on our cruise was canceled. Unlike others on our cruise, we had a lot of time in Lisbon (using it as our home base) to explore outside Lisboa. With a few adjustments and searches online I decided to add a full day private tour from Lisbon to Porto. We wanted to enjoy quality time in Porto, not just a quick stop. We are so glad that we found Duca. What a top notch way to travel. Our assigned driver, Filipe was full of knowledge and pride for Portugal and of course Porto. We learned so much about Porto, way beyond its association with Port wine. We were together for 14 hours and saw much of Porto and Gaia, as we learned the roles each of those cities play in Port production. We ate a traditional lunch in one of Filipe’s favorite traditional restaurants. And we walked and walked. It was so thorough and enjoyable. Thank you!

Best Sintra Tour!

I couldn't imagine a better guide than I had in Margarida for my Sintra tour! I was traveling solo and she took some of the best pictures from my entire trip to Portugal. She was knowledgeable and a great driver. I had the best day, which also happened to be my last day in Portugal. It was a fantastic way to end my trip! Some things to know - the itinerary listed on Viator is ambitious. I had chosen his tour because I wanted to see it all, and it was the only one that listed everything I wanted to see. However, the reality of Sintra is that there is a lot of traffic and few places to park. It isn't very realistic to see the inside and outside of all of the places listed so I had to decide which were the most important. I missed out on one of the ones I wanted to see due to closing times, but I got to see most of what I went there to see. As for tickets, I chose to buy ahead of time the ones that are all day tickets and I bought the timed tickets day of. There should be enough tickets left for a time slot the driver can work around. You can't go wrong with this tour!

Spectacular day of natural beauty

Drive is a bit long (~2 1/2 hours each way) but an amazing day awaits... unbelievable cliffs, spectacular rock formations, a bright blue sea, memorable caves like you've probably never seen... Jorge was a wonderful guide for the day. We had a great day with him! And lunch on the beach (arranged by Jorge) was crazy delicious. We ran out of time to do everything we wanted, took so many amazing pictures... The Algarve region is a must do / don't miss on your Portugal trip... strong recommend!!
