The tour of Pena palace was very underwhelming. Sintra has such narrow street that traffic and parking were miserable. The driver spoken reasonable English but was not a tour guide

In our previous messages, we advised you to only visit the terraces and gardens of Pena Palace because visiting the interior isn't pleasant at this time of year. There are a lot of people inside. Our tours are tailor-made, so we're flexible with schedules. With the best of intentions, we sometimes extend the tour time due to heavy traffic. However, we can end the tour whenever you wish. We want our guests to have the best experience. Our product does not include guided visits inside the monuments. This is explained on Viator, and we reinforce the information in our messages. Sintra is a beautiful historic village. It's old narrow streets and popularity definitely warrant having a guide drive you. Ricardo is a warm, friendly native. He knew where to stop at key historic spots and viewpoints.
