Drive is a bit long (~2 1/2 hours each way) but an amazing day awaits... unbelievable cliffs, spectacular rock formations, a bright blue sea, memorable caves like you've probably never seen... Jorge was a wonderful guide for the day. We had a great day with him! And lunch on the beach (arranged by Jorge) was crazy delicious. We ran out of time to do everything we wanted, took so many amazing pictures... The Algarve region is a must do / don't miss on your Portugal trip... strong recommend!!

Our guide, George was exceptional! It was a long day but worth every minute. The Algarve region is gorgeous and the boat ride along the coast and into the caves was breathtaking! We had a wonderful lunch on the beach before heading to Lagos for shopping and an ice cream :)

This was a great day out. It was disappointing that the driver was an hour & half late to pick us up. We were told that the vehicle had broken down but this turned out to be incorrect as it was as electric vehicle.
Once we finally got underway we had a great day

We had a difficult start since our Guide Philip was blocked due to an accident on the 25 April Bridge. We were immediately informed him and eventually start the trip with one hour delay.
During the long drive to the Algarve, Philip used the time to explain to us the history of the country and all the references to the Algarve. For lunch thank to him we could experience the seafood in a small beach restaurant in Portimao. After lunch we visited Farol de Sarges and the Cliffs in Lagos. Overall I need to warn that you spend a lot of time in the car. However, thank to Philip we had a nice experience. The only cons is the Mercedes Vito used by his company which was old, a car body full of dents and missing paints: not very representing for a professional driver company...

George was a fantastic tour guide. It was a long day but a great day to spend it in beautiful Algarve. George set us up for a tour of the Bengali caves and lunch at a delicious restaurant in Portimao. Sights were amazing. It was a wonderful trip all around.

Wonderful trip to Algarve. Our driver was friendly and informative.
There was one problem. When we arrived in Portimao our driver directed us to a booth and we paid for a boat trip. We proceeded to the boat. Please note I have back problems and this boat was not a good idea. As we were riding the boat we asked if we go into the caves and the driver said they weren’t allowed to today because of the rough water. It seems like we paid for something we didn’t get. I was really disappointed that we weren’t asked if we wanted to do the boat ride and we weren’t given a choice as to the type of boat.
Otherwise it was a great trip

Our guide was almost an hour late so we started off terrible. It turned out that our guide was really just a driver rather than a tour guide. We didn’t learn much about the areas we were driving through. We did see two beautiful water views, we took a boat ride offered through a different vendor to see the caves which was nice but the time for the boat tour eliminated our ability to go to the third water view stop. Our driver did get us to a very delicious lunch spot with great service. Overall not worth the expensive day.

Despite the temperatures in the area on the day of our tour being 110 F, we had an amazing time with our guide, Luis, whether it was time spent in the car driving from Lisbon to Algarve, listening to music and talking about the Portugal's history and the countryside around us, to the amazing views of the caves in Portimao and the beautiful calcada (pavement) of Lagos as well as the rock formations on the beach of Dona Ana.

My husband and I saw so many beautiful views on this trip. Jorge was our guide and he knew the best places to take us to get great pictures! Jorge was patient, kind, flexible, and really wanted us to be happy. He was a trooper for the long drive from Lisbon to/from Algarve (3 hours each way), and he handled it with grace. He made arrangements for our lunch at a beachfront restaurant that had fantastic food. Really appreciated him sharing his knowledge with us and never making us feel rushed.

We had the most amazing day with Jorge!!! He picked us up at exactly what time we were told he would and the drive to the Algarve was beautiful and the boat trip to all the caves was stunning. After our boat trip Jorge arranged the perfect place for lunch and it was over the top delicious, Jorge joined us which made it even more enjoyable! Our stops in Lagos, Sagres and to the end of the world were also amazing and beautiful! Our only wish is we’d had more time to request more tours with Jorge as our guide! My best friend and I went on this tour together. Our driver, Filip, was amazing. He was very kind, gracious, accommodating. And more importantly a great conversationalist. There’s a lot of time spent driving for this tour and it was nice to speak with Filip as he took us to each destination. The places we visited were all VERY beautiful and I enjoyed learning the history of the Algarve region as well.

My guide was Jorge and he is AMAZING. I cant say enough good things about him. I went as a solo female and he made me feel so comfortable and looked after. He always held the door open every time I got into the car and waited patiently wherever we were. He’s also such a positive person and works so hard. Its a big job driving people around for 10-12 hours every day but Jorge does it with such positivity and enthusiasm. He took me to the most

There were several Algarve, Benagil Caves, Lagos, and Sagres day tours from Lisbon to choose from but we decided to go with this one, turned out to be a solid choice. Our tour guide Jorge picked us up in a Benz at 8 pm outside our hotel and then we embarked on a 2 hour 15 minute road trip south for the Algarve region. We arrived in Algarve around 10:30 am and we headed straight for the Benagil Caves boat tour. We had to pay separately for the boat tour as stated in the tour inclusions and exclusions, it cost us 30 euros per person but it was worth it. You can’t head all the way down there without visiting the Benagil Caves. The boat tour lasted about 1 hour and 30 minutes. Afterwards we had lunch at a nice beachside restaurant at the Praia da Rocha beach. After lunch we walked the beach a little bit then our tour guide took us to visit the town of Lagos, the famous Ponte de Piedade rock formations, and then the Cape of St. Vincent near the small town of Sagres before driving us back to Lisbon around 7 pm. Our guide Jorge was great, very informative, and a trooper for driving us all the way down there, then to all the different places along the southern Portugal coast, and then driving us all the way back up to Lisbon at the end. If you’re looking for a great Algarve, Benagil Caves, Lagos, and Sagres day tour from Lisbon this one will do the trick. - Nolan P
