A lot of fun, James Douglas was great!

It was a very fun tour. Lots of interesting stories and our guide, James Douglas (who strangely reminded me of Gerard Butter), kept us entertained throughout. He singled me out often; called me a witch, had me stomp on someone's grave, and made me the safety officer so I had to go into the underground rooms first, but it was all in good fun. I definitely recommend this tour.

Fisher is a fantastic tour guide!

We didn’t have the best weather for the first half of the tour, but Fishers personality helped !!! A knowledgeable, funny, interesting Scottish guy. Also a smooth, safe driver. The sun made an appearance later in the day &we had a lovely cruise on Loch Ness. Didn’t see Nessie but highly recommend adding the boat cruise on your tour. Fisher knows all the good places to get refreshments and will advise along the way.This includes whisky ice-cream! It’s a long day but Fishers anecdotes, humour & choice of music help the driving stretches. Thanks for a great day out 😀

Wonderful Tour at the Edinburg Castle

The tour was organized extremely well. As Canadians, we had to track down the Adam Smith monument but a very helpful Police Officer pointed us in the right direction. Stephanie was above and beyond clear, concise, entertaining and informative in her explanation of how the tour was going to unfold. Stephanie was very open to questions and filled the group in on historical facts prior to embarking up the Royal Mile and during our walk up the Royal Mile. Even in the congestion of all the people on different tours and individual sight seers, Stephanie excelled at keeping the group together and giving people enough time to stay engaged with the tour. At this point, I have to say that Stephanie’s bio is very accurate with her performance skills showing themselves at every turn. The Castle tour itself is demanding but doable for a 70 yr old that is not in the best of shape. The tour does climb steadily upward and you have to be prepared for wind, (hold on to your Hat), but Stephanie took the time to ensure all could hear her involved revelations of the history of the Edinburg Castle and the Clans who fought to hold on to their heritage. All in all, a spectacular tour. You won’t be disappointed.

Great tour, nice intro to Edinburgh

Great tour from Davy! Highly recommend booking — the castle was sold out the day we went but we could breeze past the line with the tour group and Davy was really personable and fun. And a movie star!! He took the time to learn everyone’s names and shared the Scottish history in a way that was really easy to follow, interesting and funny. Would definitely book more with this company. Plus, after we were done, we could wander the castle grounds and you’re right in the heart of Old Town with some nice shopping and eating.

Great historical tour

My family and I had a great history tour with Mark. He knows the stories and he has a great sense of humor. We learned a lot about Edinburgh and the castle’s history. We lucked out with great weather and really got to spend a good amount of time at the castle even after the tour ended.

Louisa was wonderful! The Underground Vaults Walking Tour was very informative. Louisa did a great job mixing in history with spookiness. The vaults were so cool to see and it was so interesting to hear the history. Meeting spot was easy to find. We had a small group of only four of us so we were able to ask questions and have a more intimate experience. Worth the money, hour went by quickly, Would recommend! Thanks, Louisa!

Unforgettable Day in the Highlands with Stewart Tours!

This tour was an absolute highlight from start to finish! The timing throughout the entire day was managed perfectly, giving us a mix of Highland scenery, history, and relaxation without ever feeling rushed. Our driver Keith was outstanding—knowledgeable, friendly, and exceptional behind the wheel. They made sure we had plenty of time at every stop to snap photos of Glencoe and absorb the fascinating local history. The hairy coos were a joy to watch. The schedule was thoughtfully planned, leaving generous time in Fort William to enjoy lunch, explore the town, and see the famous Jacobite steam train right before it departed. We were able to see the train on the bridge (this is not a guarantee depending on train times). Taking a different route back to Edinburgh was a wonderful touch that let us experience a whole new side of the Highlands. Stewart is a wonderful family-owned company to tour with, and their personal touch shows in every detail. Highly recommended to anyone booking this trip!

Do it!

Our driver, CAZ made all the difference. She made the trip entertaining with her humor, stories and information. The views were stunning and even thought the whole trip was twelve hours, I didn’t fell it. I would suggest a little more time exploring the natural wonders and not as much time on lunch. I would definitely do this again!

This was a fantastic trip and I highly recommend it. We saw gorgeous sites and Ross was an excellent tour guide. We even drove by the Kelpies on the trip to see at a distance, enjoyed feeding Highland Coos and had some ice cream on top of seeing all the other planned sites. A long day, but 100% worth every minute!!

Fabulous Excursion!!!!!

I was reluctant to take this excursion because of the length—almost 12.5 hour—but I would have missed one of the highlight of my trip to Scotland if I hadn’t taken it. I thought the highlight would have been the cruise on Loch Ness but it was only part of the magic of the Scotland landscape. Everything including the weather was stunning. Rico was our driver and guide and he did an excellent job at both. His commentary was interesting and at times amusing. The coach, that held 16 passengers was very comfortable. Rabbies did an excellent job at organizing the tour—an a plus group. We had plenty of time at each stop and numerous bathroom breaks—never felt rushed. In my 2 weeks in Scotland it was one of the highlights. If you want to experience the highlights of the the Scottish Highlands, take this tour…and you’ll love the Highland Coos.
