I went on the ghost tour during a solo trip to Edinburgh and Diva was our tour guide. She had a great sense of humour, the tour was well paced, and it was a really enjoyable experience. Diva definitely made the experience what it was!

It's an "ok" quick overview of the stories of haunts. (Only a couple). Interesting to go underground but very short. Time spent in room before going underground was short. None of the items in the cases were discussed, but one. Guide hard to understand. Tour best for younger group as some stairs quite steep (need a boost).

Wonderful tour! The vaults were pretty creepy. My mother who is almost 70 said that she will never go on another tour with us because she was so scared lol but we had a great time!

The vaults were somewhat interesting, but overall this tour was disappointing. The cemetery portion felt like a waste of time and did not add much to the experience. The information was very general and felt rushed, without enough detail to make the stories or history stand out. It also was not scary at all, so if you are booking it for a spooky experience, I would not recommend it.
If you have already done another Edinburgh walking tour or even a hop-on hop-off bus tour, you will probably already know most of what is covered here. I wish there had been more time and better storytelling in the vaults, because that was the strongest part, but it still felt too surface-level to be worth it.

Great tour for anyone interested in the dark history of Edinburgh! Started promptly and roughly split time evenly between Greyfriars cemetery and the vaults. Louisa was an excellent knowledgeable guide and funny too! She even offered recommendations for anything in Edinburgh at the end of the tour.

Our guide Darren was great. He shared so much history of the darker parts of Edinburgh. Plus a few puns thrown in to lighten the tour. Those looking to book this tour need to know there is one entrance that has a very large step up. I needed help getting up as the step was higher than my knee and I also have really bad knees.

Diva was a witty, informative and entertaining and entertaining guide with lots of charming historical and spooky stories. She moved us briskly from Greyfriars Kirkyard to and through the Vaults. Great evening entertainment.

Tour guide had a fairly thick accent, so was somewhat hard to understand. The stories in the graveyard were good, but there were too many group tours and we could not find a place to settle. The vaults and the stories told in them were underwhelming and her explanation of the vault development was unclear...a visual aid would have helped.

We did the Greyfriars Kirkyard & Vaults tour with Jordan, who gave us a good feeling about life in the early days of Edinburgh and gave us the shivers with his stories about the ghosts haunting the graveyard and the Vaults . Reality enjoyed and recommend anyone to do this tour while in Edinburgh , it is a must !!

Brendan is amazing!! We were a little iffy about the tour, we booked it almost same day but Brendan made the tour completely worth it and has been one of the best tour guides we have ever had!
He got into character, made us jump a little here and there and kept us on our toes!

Firstly, fair play to Jordan. The only other couple booked on the tour didn't show up, so it was literally just me and my wife, and he still put the effort in to show us around the cemetery and the vaults.
Both of us thought he was a brilliant tour guide, he told plenty of interesting/grim historical stories and kept us thoroughly entertained for the 90 mins. (Even though it was belting with rain for the outside parts)
We've been on plenty of these ghosty/creepy tours before, and the vaults section of this one was definitely one of the eeriest. Mostly thanks to Jordan's storytelling skills.
Highly recommended tour, not just for the scarier sections, but lots of info on the history of Edinburgh too.
