This was a wonderful workshop. Our very professional and knowledgeable instructor Gabby took us through a quick tutorial plus history of the products. Such a satisfying way to experience Edinburgh culture. Highly recommend!

I had a great time at the workshop. The staff were amazing (shoutout to Gabby) and made it a very fun experience. There is so much to choose from and it’s all cool to have your own one of a kind bag when you’re done!

Loved it! I am obsessed with my bag. Though some screws are hard based on location it was all together pretty easy to do! The hardest part is choosing!

This activity is amazing. What a cool way to spend an hour and a half making your own keepsake from Scotland. Picking our designs was so fun. Guides were so nice and helpful. We had Anna who was so patient and kind. Highly recommend this activity. Well worth every penny. Make sure you have the right address there are a couple places that make purses.

It was fun to put together a pocketbook where we chose the colors and materials. I did feel rushed though. One of the girls working there told our instructor that we had to be done by 1pm so that they could accommodate someone else. They were cleaning up while we were sent downstairs. Also, our instructor was not very engaging. But, I still am glad I experienced it!

Even though we missed our class due to a 3+ flight delay; the ladies were wonderful and since there were no available sessions in our time frame they sent us to go pick out our kit and get everything we needed to make our bag.

It was very easy, and there were so many options to choose from. You can buy extra pieces so that you can mix and match after you get home!

This workshop was a great idea in theory, but I would not recommend it. Overall everything felt rushed. You are given only 5-10 mins to pick out your bag components and each step of assembly seemed like we were racing to get it done, rather than enjoying it as an experience. I had my 10 year old with me, and it was definitely too hard for them to complete on their own. Although, Victoria gets an A+ for helpfulness, the rest of the team would tend to instruct from afar and not help hands-on as much even when they knew we were having a hard time with the screws. I would say it is better just to go to the shop and buy a bag (unless you want something really custom).

BOOK IT!!!! Not only was this experience amazing, but once I share pictures with my friends, everyone was so jealous of my hand bag! The team was kind and patient. They double check your work and give you plenty of time to decide what you want to put together.

Annalise was a great teacher and it was a lot of fun. However, as soon as the class was over, we were rushed out of the door, even though everyone was trying to purchase additional items we were rushed out because they were closing. I don’t feel like this was great customer service.

The entire process was very fun. You get some history of the bags/lids and enjoy the people around you as you put your chosen bag/colors together. The folks running the workshop were very helpful and fun.

Loved this unique workshop that ended with the cutest souvenir. The instructor was extremely helpful and nice. The group I sat with was also friendly and fun. Process was easy to follow. Highly recommend!!

You have the option to upgrade your mini satchel to larger satchel or backpack or leather you can also make another flap if you can't decide between tartan or tweed

This was an amazing experience. Dawn and the other ladies were so kind and helpful. My friend had a broken thumb and don pretty much put together her whole entire bag for her with a smile on her face.

The shop is a little hidden but such a fun experience! Would definitely do again I love my backpack, you can choose from several different styles when you get there! The quality is great too!

This is a really fun activity in Edinburgh. We were able to design and put together a bag from many sizes, colors, fabrics to pick from. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a fun, not too long, activity, where you make something to your own taste that becomes a useable and beautiful souvenir for yourself from beautiful Edinburgh.

Make sure you locate the right workshop in advance as there are many locations which caused delays on class. They were accommodating and we were still able to enjoy the experience. I would just disclose that it may be difficult to locate if you have spotty service searching for it in the moment
