Amazing experience making my own handbag. So many options to chose from and the steps were easy to follow.
This was an enjoyable way to spend and hour and a half and to make memories building your own bag rather than just buying one. Selecting the colours and tweeds are part of the fun and you have a bag that is individual, customised and will always hold memories of your trip to Edinburgh.
They canceled the class 10 minutes AFTER THE STARTING TIME while several paid customers were lined up outside the store!!! So disappointed without warning to plan a different activity! So unprofessional!
I would recommend looking at options online for the bags, as they only give you 15 minutes to pick the body, flap, straps, and handles and there are a lot of options
My niece and I arrived too late to join the workshop (our flight was delayed 6 hours and we ended up being 30 minutes late for workshop). The ladies there were soo nice. One of them even took us to another location to pick out our purse style and gave us instructions and supplies needed to make it ourselves. It only took us about 20 minutes to put it together. I highly recommend this place
Susie was great. Fun class to pick out a purse. Options were clear for vegan or real leather. Lots of fun combinations.
Really fun way to create my own one of a kind bespoke bag. I spent more than I expected but oh well…
It was a very fun workshop and the purse I made turned out great. The staff were very friendly and the fabric and purse selections were great.
You want something unique to take back home, do this! This is a one of a kind experience. And not a ton of money. One of the best things I did.
We had a wonderful time making our purses! There were so many options and honestly I don’t think you could go wrong with any combination. The quality of products is great and they help you with every detail of putting the bags together. Great gals activity to do with friends or family!
Great experience with my daughter in law. Would highly recommend. Relatively easy to do and the purses are reasonably priced. Many choices and all were available! Would do it again!
Omg this was so much fun!!! Can’t recommend highly enough. Cory was a hoot! Very patient and informative and helped everyone thru the process. My husband came with me and there were other fellas there too. He said it was like building a big lego lmao. There’s many other options you can upgrade to besides the mini. The groups are not big and you can mingle and giggle with others. And in the end you end up with a fabulous custom bag!!!
My husband and I really enjoyed our experience! You get to learn some about the history Harris tweed, how it is made, and the various tweeds! Susie is a wonderful teacher and host!
This was a lovely day making a custom bag. The choices were more than I expected! I made a bag and now can’t wait to go back and make another one!
Do your research on colours via website before you come so as not as overwhelming. Breathe and take your time when in workshop picking colours.

Truly a wonderful experience! It was so much fun to see all the different options and to get to make something no one else can buy!
The only thing is, I wish they had given the “lesson” on the tartan and tweed before selection! It would have given me a greater appreciation while I was looking at them.
I wish the group was a bit smaller, there were far too many people in a very small shop all vying for the same shelves. It made picking colors difficult and let to some in my group being disappointed with the final product. But apart from that, it was a great experience- Analese and Cory were both very polite and helpful. I would definitely recommend this to others if they like building things and having a unique souvenir. It’s also very nice that you can buy separate pieces to change out later if desired.
I had a nice time with my mum. Prices are reasonable and it was nice you can upgrade sizes for little to no fee. They were running a special on backpacks.

Great workshop! Had great picking out my bat and tartan lid to create my own handbag. The workshop leaders were quite helpful to ensure the crews for the bag were in place tightly.
Received so many compliments on my handbag when sporting it.. make sure to tighten your screws regularly to be sure nothing comes loose as they suggested!
This is very well done! The satchels are great and the instructors explain everything. It’s so much fun picking out the colors and parts to the bags. You leave with a completed bag and I’ve been using it throughout my trip. Highly recommend!
Had lots of fun choosing from the many options available to make my bag. Staff (Kirsty, Taylor, Sophie) were all helpful and provided easy to follow instructions. Would definitely recommend this experience.
Connor was amazing. We had the best time and thoroughly enjoyed the process of customizing our own satchels. Conner was funny, patient and very helpful with us all. The time flew by and we didn’t want it to end.

Such a fun experience and I'm thrilled with my bag! The coordinators were amazing and the selection of materials made it hard to choose. Everything is so beautiful. I especially loved the opportunity to upgrade my purchase.
