Euan gave us a great tour of old Edinburgh! He was very knowledgeable and entertaining :) So much of Scottish history involves fighting the English!

Tour overbooks the number of people in the tour group making it impossible to hear your guide when you are caught being in the outer circle. We counted more than 35-40. You would need an audio vox to hear. We couldn't hear anything and after 2 stops, it was vividly apparent it wouldn't get better and walked off. Wasted our $$ on this tour.

Excellent tour! Best to do this at the beginning of your stay but would still be worthwhile. Our guide was fabulous, I apologize I cannot remember her name right now. She did introduce herself. She was extremely knowledgeable and very engaging.

We really enjoyed this tour and would highly recommend it.
Jess was knowledgeable, engaging, and an excellent storyteller. We especially enjoyed her perspective on the role of women in Scottish history, which added depth to the experience and highlighted stories that are often overlooked.
For anyone considering this tour, it's worth noting that it's more standing than walking. The group stops at various locations throughout Old Town while Jess shares the history and stories behind each site.
A fantastic introduction to Edinburgh and one of the highlights of our trip!

It was repetitive didn’t learn anything new or interesting as we had taken the Edinburgh Castle and the Royal Mile tour the previous day.
Lisa_M, Jun 2026
This guide was so fun and informative! We ended up going back and retracing the steps of the tour so we could see the bench inside the church, dance on John Knox's grave, and get lunch at her recommendations. Highly recommend.

This was an extremely enjoyable tour. Koffe imparted great historical knowledge with a little bit of comedy. We were a group of eight and each one of us gave it a 5-star rating.

This was an excellent tour led by Max of Little Fish Tours. He did an excellent job telling us about the history of Old Town Edinburgh, keeping us entertained while also being honest and vulnerable about the pro’s and con’s of the stories he told us - keeping it real! Thanks, Max for an educational experience along with a good sense of humor!
