Campbell seemed to have the knack of making the tour a fun walk around some of the old town, and he could certainly tell a good story.
A great introduction to old Edinburgh
The tour guide was very personable and open to answering our questions and not just rushing through the tour. Shared some funny stories with us!
Matthew was fantastic. Very knowledgeable but also funny and entertaining. Good way to learn about the city and get your bearings before wandering on your own

First, “Big G” (Graeme) was so personable and incredibly knowledgeable. The history as we explored Old Town was made both fascinating and entertaining! Edinburgh is a city full of history, mystery and architectural delights. And we learned about all of this with one of the best tour guides we ever had.

The tour was great got to wonder around the most emblematic areas of the old town of Edinburgh while Euan our guide told us all about it in a fun, digestible and informative way, perfect combination of history, stories and even some poetry. Would highly recommend.

Don’t forget to bring an umbrella or a raincoat since it rained frequently and did several times during the tour; there’s not any shares of shader cover. Very interesting Tour with stories, history and cool sites. There is not too much walking & we got the history and some places we might not have found on our own and it made the whole trip more enjoyable. Great guide, Matt.
One of the best and most educational ways to learn of the history behind the city is a great guide. Euan was an abundance of qwerky facts and knowledge.
The pace of the walk was great, making sure we all were together to listen and allowing time to take pictures. This ensured no one was left out
We booked this tour the 1st day of our stay in Scotland. It was easy to find our tour guide with the directions provided. We saw a few monuments and buildings, but stayed in one area mostly on/off High Street. I was hoping to see a bit more. The streets were crowded. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and did a good job navigating and sharing stories of some notorious characters in Scotland's history.
For our first time in Edinburgh this tour was a must. The guide was very good and also fun. We recommend it

Euan gave us a great tour of old Edinburgh! He was very knowledgeable and entertaining :) So much of Scottish history involves fighting the English!
Tour overbooks the number of people in the tour group making it impossible to hear your guide when you are caught being in the outer circle. We counted more than 35-40. You would need an audio vox to hear. We couldn't hear anything and after 2 stops, it was vividly apparent it wouldn't get better and walked off. Wasted our $$ on this tour.

This tour was a great experience and very good value for money. Our guide Coffe was welcoming, knowledgeable and above all a great story teller. Highly recommended for everyone who want to know more of the history of the city and some of the many characters that have shaped it.
