Best part of our European trip!
We were hesitant to book the 12 hour tour because we didn’t want to be stuck all day but we could’ve easily spent 12 hours with Paul S. The first stop was the bridges, there’s only one open public toilet there so it’s best to wait until the next stop, which was Blackness castle. It was only a short drive from the bridges. The Blackness castle was a filming location in Outlander, and other movies, it was spectacular and super cheap entry for two! Just being able to go in and see the inside was cool. Lots of steps, so be prepared!
From there we went to the small town of Callander and had a quick bite. I suggest grabbing quick counter service so you can explore a little. Then he took us to the loch, you should really go up to the observing deck, it’s worth the 3-5 minutes step hike….skip the cafè there, the wonders are outside! We didn’t go on the boat tour, and I’m glad because we got to walk around the area and take tons of pics, it’s so beautiful!!!!! The bus had usb ports on each seat, which was nice because we had chargers for our phones with us. Paul S talked the whole time and gave us tons of history, he’s very knowledgeable! While we drove up to Loch Venachar, he put on some beautiful highlander music, and it made the trip so much more special! The coo cows are adorable, the scenery around them was breathtaking, I took some pics there too. We would definitely book with Paul S again! This tour was the BEST part of our trip so far and we’ve already been to Paris and London!

With Claire, Routine Routes Became Real Connections
The real magic of the Highlands isn’t just the landscapes — it’s the stories, legends, and history layered beneath them. And that’s exactly what Claire, our guide, brought to life.
She has a genuine gift for weaving history, people, and place together in a way that feels fresh and vivid, even for someone who’s visited before. As a history graduate, she added real depth without ever sounding like she was reciting a script. Her enthusiasm never dipped, even on a route she clearly knows well.
I especially loved the little spark in her eyes whenever she mentioned her grandma — you could tell she loved her so much.
Claire, you made the trip exceptional. Thank you. Both you and Emma are wonderful.

Great day trip from Edinburgh to see the Highlands
We had a great driver/guide, Alistar. He pointed out all the points of interest along the way and when we stopped for lunch let us know about some place where you could get either an authentic meal or something more quick so you'd have time to explore the town. It was a long day, but he drove great with that huge bus on tiny roads, nerves of steel. Thanks Alistar.

Amazing trip with breathtaking views!
Amazing trip - We had a fantastic one-day trip. The tour was well organized, comfortable and enjoyable throughout. A special thanks to our driver/ guide who was knowledgeable, friendly, and shared fascinating history along the way.
Despite visiting many places in one day, the trip never felt rushed and the scenery and overstay castle was breathtaking.
No second thoughts! Just go for it if you want to explore Scotland in a day!

Ben was an excellent...
Ben was an excellent guide and kept the tour light and fun while teaching us plenty about the history and folklore of the region. The Isle of Skye, of course, is stunning, and Ben made sure we saw as much as you’re able in a day. Excellent trip all around.

An Excellent Outlander Tour!
This Outlander Tour was exactly the right pace, giving us time to stand and feel the spots we saw in the series. Our guide, Sean Gordon was highly knowledgeable, personable, and funny. His depth of historical perspective was very valuable in understanding the locations. We really enjoyed his storytelling and wide selection of Scottish music. Highly recommended!

Whole day adventure
David was great, entertaining and informative. Through in a couple of extra experiences as time and weather allowed. Great taste in music played in between narratives. Plenty of time at all the listed destinations. Not my first time to Edinburgh but first time out of the city. Perfect way to get out and explore.

Excellent day tour that hits all the highlights! Recommend Recommend
We had a lovely day with our fabulous tour guide Karen. She was fun and shared useful and interesting information. There were so many interesting stops and activities. Enjoyed the Loch Ness boat ride over to Urquhart Castle. The castle grounds were very neat to see and the film in the visitor center was informative. Next we went to Singleton distillery for a wee dram of whisky. Stopped in Beauly for delicious lunch and visit to the Pirory. Culloden Battle field with a separate paid tour was fascinating and sad. Ending the day was a stop to see the Clava Cairins, 4000 year old Bronze age stone circles and burial cairins. Well done day tour. Recommend to others.

5/5 - Highly Recommended
Karen, our tour guide, was phenomenal! The tour takes you along breathtaking scenery - along castles and lochs and everything in between. Karen did an excellent job of pointing out the scenery while also driving expertly, so that we didn’t have to worry about it. Bring a camera! There is so much to take in

Can’t stop talking about it
Louise was amazing! (She should literally start a podcast with all the information she had!) This tour hit so many stops we didn’t even know we were going to stop at. The stories and history were amazing! Definitely bring a second pair of clothes (the weather varies).

Efficient and...
Efficient and well-planned, this trip took us to see the sights of the Scottish Highlands. Our driver and guide Adam did a fantastic job of providing interesting and humorous backstory to the sights we saw all while keeping us on track and squeezing in extra photo ops. There was a lot of time in the bus but this was all worth it once we reached Glencoe and Glenfinnen.
