James is an exceptional, knowledgable guide. He did a great job of researching our interests and then mapping out a wonderful tour of southern Shetland. He included lots of breaks including a lovely cup of tea and shortbread at St. Ninian’s island. If you schedule with James, you’ll have a most memorable tour.

James was fantastic: Cannot recommend highly enough! James is a veteran teacher and has encyclopedic knowledge of Shetland, plus he has visual aids that illustrate a number of interesting aspects of the sights you will see, and the history you will learn about. He is friendly and is flexible about the itinerary, which is a plus in our book. If you want to see lovely sights and learn a lot whilst you are at it, this is the review for you!
