What are people saying about Reykjavik

A must do excursion.
It was great. Toby was a wonderful guide with lots of information to share. Loved the Fridheimar farm and especially the Icelandic horses. The tomato soup lunch was so good. The crater, the geysers, the waterfall and the Thingvellir park were wonderful to see.

great tour
If you've been to Yellowstone in the US, the Geyser Valley isn't all that impressive, but the view of the Ling Glacier, if you get a clear sunny day, is. We also enjoyed the small lical surprise & the waterfall. However, our guide Viktoria was a blast- her stories were funny & informative- and the bus was comfortable. While they didn't hold any of the seats for easy access for handicapped ridrs, we did manage to find a pair by the middle doors after getting in from the front if the bus at the start , so getting in & out at stops from the mud-doors made it eadier on my husband.

Long drive, but stops...
Long drive, but stops were worth it. Tour guides should be more strict on the time to be back to the bus because there are some really inconsiderate passengers.
Simon P. The "Spicy Viking" was awesome - we had a comedy show the whole ride which was entertaining!

Fascinating!
It was an extremely rocky walk with many stairs and wet surfaces. You do get dripped on as you go. But I would so do it again as it was well worth the effort. NOTE: It is not for anyone with any difficulty walking or with balance issues! The guide was very knowledgeable and passionate about the natural beauty and geology of the lava tunnel which always adds to the enjoyment of any tour. Thanks so much!

Great tour, even better guide!!!
I was concerned about 9 hour tour, but I went for it and we were so glad. Time flew by. The sites were great. Pacing was great so not too long in one place or on the road. Never felt rushed, nor were we sitting around bored. The best part was our tour guide Gon. He was so knowledgeable, kind, and friendly. Just excellent guy. Really can’t say enough about it. This was in a Mercedes Sprinter so 17 on our tour (19 max) and it was very comfortable. Again, ask for Gon. He is the best!!

I fell in love with Iceland’s landscape <3
This tour is a lot packed into one but So Worth It! If you go in the summer, you’ll likely see all the toddler aged animal off-spring during the drive, too. It’s so cute. And just soak up the AMAZING landscape Iceland has to offer.
The tour: First up, go to Braude in the AM for coffee & pastry (coz they’re open earlier than the bus stop pick up time - TY to the kind soul that recommended this tip). Or have coffee & breakfast before you take off for the pick up point. Bring some morning snacks with you. After that, the trip flows seamlessly with lots of snack, food and WC stops. All hail to our tour guide PG for the fascinating and educational facts about Iceland and its history; keeping us engaged throughout the trip. He has everything timed out like clockwork. With a few picturesque photo opp stops in between. And sign up for the glacier boat tour if offered. Okay I won’t tell ya all of the things we did. Just trust you’ll have a wonderful time. All my friends are telling me I look sincerely happy in my photos - ya coz of this tour. :)

Don't miss this tour!
We loved this excursion. Luca was a great guide. He is so knowledgeable.
Seeing the different styles of architecture, and learning the history of the buildings (and of Iceland and Reykjavik) was very interesting.
It was cool to taste the local food & drink.
I feel like I knew how to get around the city on our own after the tour.

The Real Deal!
We saw so many impressive sights that I hardly know where to begin...but just know that Iceland's South Coast is dramatic and fascinating!...the glacier, the black beach with the monoliths off shore, the powerfull waterfalls, the tons of sheep, cows, and horses along the way....the enormous mountains on one side with the water on the other side. Old man Flosi was a terrific tour guide. What a day!

Wonderful Experience!
Going to the Blue Lagoon was a special experience! We booked this trip because our flight landed very early AM and we couldn't check into our hotel until the afternoon. We got dropped off and then picked back up for the ride to town and our hotel. It was fun getting all the mud masks and sipping a cocktail in the warm water while snow was falling from above. Highly recommend you check out the Blue Lagoon in Iceland, you'll love it! Oh, we also got the option with robes and towels which was an excellent choice. The changing areas and shower facilities were also very accommodating and offered lockers for your stuff.

Our guide for the Golden...
Our guide for the Golden Circle portion, Eric, was very knowledgeable and professional. The snowmobiling is done in conjunction with a separate company. Everything went smoothly. Neither I nor my wife had ever been snowmobiling before, but we had no trouble with it. It is a bit strenuous, but you don't need to be a top athlete to do it.

Great day, helped we had nice weather so be sure to check this before going, but well worth hitting all the spots and taking in the fantastic sights!
Big thank you to our driver Gregor and Guide Kristi, she was very nice and funny and really helped the tour vibes!

Great guide and amazing experience
This was an amazing experience! Luck was with us, and we began seeing the lights shortly after leaving Reykjavic. Our guide knew just where to go for viewing, and was very informative with great info all night long. The bus was comfortable. All in all one of the best experiences of my life!
