Interesting and well-paced

I would do this on your first day or two as it is a great introduction to the city. John was a great guide and also gave us a bunch of good recs for food and other things to do. Its a long tour but there are breaks so it didn't feel tiring. It also gets you to the front of the line for Livraria Lello, which is great bc I don't really think it would be worth waiting in line for. Highly recommend!

We had a great time on our Tuk Tuk ride in Porto. Our guide, Jose Embalo, was great. Very knowledgeable and engaging. He tailored the tour to our wishes allowing us time to spend where we wanted. We stopped and enjoyed a port wine tasting which was a lot of fun. Jose gave us insight as to his favorite spots. All in all, a great afternoon.

A great door-to-door experience from Porto to see the Douro Valley! We stopped at two wineries which were great and had delicious wine. I do wish we could have stopped for photos somewhere within the Douro Valley to really capture the views but it was a really fun day trip that also ended with a fun boat ride.

Great Way to Experience Porto for Foodies

Granado was a fantastic tour guide. He is knowledgeable about the city and culture of Porto. The tour included a generous number of spots covering historical restaurants to provide us with a taste of Porto. The vinho verde and cheese pairing along with the traditional pork sandwich were two of our favorites from the stops.

Great way to see special parts of Portugal between Porto and Lisbon

Antonio (Tommy) and Jean Paul were great guides and drivers. Brought us right to the activity. Aveiro had interesting history and you can see how the area transformed to Art Deco style. Nazare was amazing knowing the surfing connection. Beautiful coastline and vibrant beach town. Obidos takes you to the medival times. Lots of shops but no aggressive selling. Lots of free time to explore. Bring lots of Euros. There are many opportunities of side vendors that don’t take credit cards. Lunch in Nazaré was great but no credit cards. Our lunch for family of four was 200 euros so plan to have plenty of cash.

Fun on the Duro River

We had a blast. We are traveling with another couple and William took very good care of us. We sat in the bow of the boat in beanbag chairs, enjoyed the sea breeze, Wine and Port. Others sat comfortably in the cabin. William shared info about the bridges and places we passed. Answered our many questions about Porto, and even shared favorite dinner spots. We would do this excursion all over again.
