Perfect end for our trip!

Two hours you will never forget!

It is a distance from the cruise port but well worth the trip. You are greeted on the pier and escorted to the yacht where you are given instructions. You pick your spot and the wine tasting commences along with the information on the bridges. Half way through each party gets its own charcuterie board and more wine. The view are amazing and you will not be disappointed. The mixture of people also helped make the 2 hours enjoyable. The only think I wish was that it was longer

What an incredible experience from start to finish! The views were breathtaking, the boat was beautiful, and the whole tour was so much fun. Miguel & Junior were friendly, knowledgeable, and made everyone feel welcome. We had plenty of opportunities to take in the scenery & snap amazing photos. Great tour of the Douro Valley! Highly recommend for a great day out of Porto.

This tour was perfect for me to get a taste of the Douro Valley for the whole day. We went to some two wonderful wineries with great knowledgeable hosts and great porto! Lunch was tasty and authentically Portuguese at the first winery. The river cruise along the Douro was beautiful - a great way to end the tour before going back to Porto. Great experience! Loved the scenic views of the Douro Valley that we got to see by boat as well as on the bus ride over! The winery was very picturesque and we got a good introduction to the process of the vineyards in the area. Tania was very friendly and helpful and made sure everyone had a safe time, and Pedro did a great job driving!

Best of Braga and Guimaraes Day Trip from Porto

Great day trip

We had a fantastic guide, Anabela, who was full of enthusiasm and love for the region, and a very safe driver, Manuel. There was ample time for lunch in Braga, as well as the guided visit of the cathedral and a short tour of the town. The Bom Jesus sanctuary was stunning, but a great shame that there is no time to go up the stairs or opportunity to see it from the bottom - especially as the outing did not last 9 hours as advertised but 8 hours and 20 minutes. Guimaraes was very beautiful but we only spent an hour and a half there (including the castle) rather than two and a half hours as advertised. It is a shame as we would have loved to see more of this most attractive town. Despite this, I recommend this tour as it packs a lot of things in a day, when you cannot spend longer. The incredibly history of Braga, Guimaraes and the region came to life and we were really well looked after by our Anabela.

Fun time

Had a fun time visiting the wineries and learning about the wine region. The wines were good and we had plenty different kinds to try. The guide Rita was funny and inviting and had interesting information to share about the region and the wine culture here. They made ample bathroom stops and the lunch was pretty good. Definitely recommend it but we didn’t spend as much time on the river as I thought we would.

Amazing, worth upgrading to larger 48ft boat

What an amazing experience on a beautiful boat, our hosts Marianna and Antonio were brilliant so friendly whole experience relaxing and fun. We upgraded to the bigger boat if thinking of booking so worth the upgrade as it’s a really beautiful boat and so luxurious. If ever back in Porto would rebook and will recommend to friends as the best couple of hours! Thanks both for such a lovely time

Highlight of Porto! My family loved it! It was relaxing and magical.

Our family loved the seven bridges tour in Porto. It was a highlight of the trip! We did the 5:90 tour and it was magical. It was warm with the sun dipping. The ride was pleasant and comfortable for 5 adults on the front of the boat.. Highly recommend!

Lots of wine!

This is a walking tour, but it is not hard. Plenty of wine and there was no pressure to purchase. I recommend bringing some crisps or nuts, or buying some on site. It's truly a lot of wine. I met lovely people in my group and was pleased that there were a few other solo travelers on the tour.

One of the best day trips ever!

This was one of our best day trips ever. We felt very lucky to have Afonso as our guide and driver and found him to be extremely professional, knowledgeable, courteous and kind, patiently answering all of our questions. We enjoyed all of the stops on the trip and felt that the time spent at each was perfect. The scenery was magnificent, we enjoyed all of the estate tours and wine and olive oil tasting and came away with so much more knowledge at the end of the day. Words cannot describe the delicious local lunch with views of the Douro Valley. Sublime. We were the only two people on the tour so thank you to Oporto Sensations for not cancelling.
