What are people saying about Porto

Lots of winding roads to...
Lots of winding roads to get to the winery so if you have motion sickness, I suggest taking something before departure. Otherwise a pleasant excursion I would highly recommend. We had a small personal group of 6 which is the way to go in my experience. Our tour operator Chris was a super friendly and insightful guy. We had a wonderful day and the lunch provided was so much food! And a delicious Portuguese feast. Be careful with the amount of port wine you consume… 20% alcohol!

Douro Valley Porto
The Wonders Tours Douro Valley Premium Small Group Wine and Lunch Tour was amazing. Such a fun day with Nuno Silva as our guide and driver was a 10. He was very personable and caring. The lunch at Piano vineyard was top notch. Our small boat tour on the Duoro River was so pleasurable. Highly recommend this to anyone.

History lesson from the water
Our hosts were great. They spent significant time with my family onboard, sharing history and culture from the perspective of seasoned sailors and locals from Porto. Although weather didn’t cooperate to raise sails (us sailors know Mother Nature doesn’t always give you perfect days), we made the most of our time on the water. Thank you for introducing us to your city from your sailboat.

Don’t miss it!
The trip was well organised and tailored to all age groups and interests. The nature was mesmerising. The guide Slimmy was very informative and provided an exceptional customer care addressing individual requirements. The trip was very pleasant and also safe due to Jorge’s smooth driving. Would highly recommend recommend!

Porto and the nearby Douro Valley is one of the world’s premier wine destinations. Much like Champagne from France, all port wine—a sweet fortified tipple often enjoyed at the end of a meal—must originate here. Porto wine-tasting tours bring you out of the city to vineyards around the region. Explore the wine caves where producers have made port the same way for centuries, then enjoy live music or a dinner, sampling plenty of the region’s most famous export in the process.
