What are people saying about Porto

Worth the drive for the view!
This was a great day. Beautiful scenery. Our driver Riccardo was such a seasoned guide and so charming. It was just long enough to visit 1 winery if you are not a drinker. The drive is about 2 hours from Porto and just make sure you can handle the winding roads. One guest had a hard time.

Porto and Gaia Postcards
We enjoyed the leisurely ride along the D’Ouro river and seeing Porto and Gaia from the vantage point of the water. The area is postcard worthy. Take lots of pictures. The team of Antonio and Maria were inviting, warm and made us feel safe. They were engaging and just fun to be with. They prepared some snacks we enjoyed. We took an early slot, so tried the wine, but the whole experience was great.

Tour to absolutely do
It is a very complete and interesting experience to discover the Douro valley, taste local products and discover small wineries that are otherwise hard to reach. Tiago made this experience even better by really taking care of the group and cracking jokes all the time. Traveling alone in guided tours can sometimes be a drag, but here the group really came together. A very fun way of learning a lot about winemaking and local characteristics.

Diego was an excellent...
Diego was an excellent tour guide provided some great insight and facts about the wine country and areas. He also had an awesome playlist of music that was timed perfectly to our locations on the tour. Miranda did a great job driving and negotiating some tight roads and getting us to all the sites and back to our meeting point safely. I would highly recommend each for any other tours

Porto and the nearby Douro Valley is one of the world’s premier wine destinations. Much like Champagne from France, all port wine—a sweet fortified tipple often enjoyed at the end of a meal—must originate here. Porto wine-tasting tours bring you out of the city to vineyards around the region. Explore the wine caves where producers have made port the same way for centuries, then enjoy live music or a dinner, sampling plenty of the region’s most famous export in the process.
