Even though I’ve always studied about Pompei as a kid, I had no idea how big the area was. Having a tourguide like Roberta was amazing and crucial to getting the most out of the experience. She was funny, elegant and knowledgeable. She truly made the entire visit memorable. We did the 3 hour tour and it was the perfect amount of time to see everything and not be bored.

Small group tour was perfect. I wasn't very excited about visiting Pompeii, but the guide Sonja was spectacular. She kept the tour moving and her narration was interesting and entertaining. The wine tasting and lunch experience was memorable and delicious. Loved it. Our driver Gennaro was also A#1! Book this tour before looking at other providers.

A great learning experience and trip into a time long past.

From the initial meeting point until the start of the tour was a lot of hurry up then wait. We were told to be at the departure point 30 minutes before departure then we didn’t leave until about 15 minutes after the scheduled time. We arrived at the start point for the tour and stood around for about 1/2 hour before the tour started. Once the tour started it was great and the rest of day went very well. Our archeologist, guide, Amedeo, was very knowledgeable and did a great job leading us through both sites. We learned a lot.

Claudia was kind, helpful and really showed us some of the hidden gems of Pompeii. There were so many small things we would’ve overlooked if we were just walking this on our own. Especially with the multigenerational group it really helped us appreciate the archaeological wonder and the history that goes along with this really precious site. It’s not the kind of place you just check on the list. You really want to understand it and we can’t recommend doing it with a guide like this enough!

Highlight of our European vacation. Worth every penny!

Absolute best excursion I took for my entire European vacation. Numa, Roberto, & Josh should be the gold standard for driver & guides. They took care of EVERYTHING & even gave suggestions on what to order. I was expecting some cold pastries & ordinary coffee as part of breakfast but they took us to this high end delicious swanky italian bakery. The guys had the music playlist to coincide with the day. Our pompeii guided tour for our small group was also excellent. We had a special surprise treat w/amazing spectacular views. The ending for lunch at this small italian restaurant with the beautiful ocean & cliffs as our backdrop was jaw dropping. Once again they did not skimp. I expected maybe a pizza & soda for lunch but instead got appetizer, dessert, red & white wine or other drink of our choosing. Entree selections even included seafood too. That meal was the best meal of our 10day european tour. We were in a car that held our family of 3 & another lovely family of 3. It was just 2 cars total. It's money well spent. Don't think about it , just book it! You will not regret it.

Excellent Tour of Pompeii

My family and I had a wonderful time touring Pompeii with our guide Luisa! Luisa has an obvious passion for Pompeii and a great depth of knowledge. With the information she shared throughout the tour, we could start to picture what life must have been like in Pompeii. I found myself unexpectedly fascinated by the roads of Pompeii, and Luisa was able to give detailed answers to several specific questions about them. I appreciated the great variety of buildings we visited during the tour, and Luisa gave us excellent recommendations for even more places we could visit on our own after our tour ended. I absolutely recommend going on this tour if you have the chance!

This was amazing. My 3rd time to Pompeii but first time to the Villa of mysteries. A long walk but worth it. We had an amazing guide who is an archeologist that actually works and excavates at Pompeii in the summer season so she was very knowledgeable. She was kind and informative and it made for a great time and great experience. Kids (13 an 17) loved it

Highly recommended to get a taste of Pompeii, Mt. Vesuvius, and Herculaneum!

Excellent tour with Antonio! He is friendly and a good driver. He was responsive about communication before the tour over Whatsapp. He clearly loves his job and knows a lot about the history and the sites. It was very helpful to have a curated experience of Pompeii as it is huge and he had lots of fun anecdotes. Herculaneum is much smaller but better preserved so was very cool to see both places and see the similarities and differences. Mt. Vesuvius was a nice hike at the end to get the full experience, but if you'd rather spend the time at Pompeii or Herculaneum, it's not a must-see. Antonio was flexible and adaptable to what we wanted to see and do and ensured we had sufficient breaks (and a yummy pizza lunch near Herculaneum!). Highly recommend his tour!

Pompeii and Amazing View from Vesuvius

Both of my guides were excellent for Pompeii and Vesuvius. They were knowledgeable and had great descriptions and explanations of the ruins and their society. Simona was our guide up to Vesuvius summit, she was wonderful and encouraging to those of us that struggled a little to make the climb. I did it! If I can do it almost anyone can. It was an amazing experience and view. I recommend this tour for sure!

Great Exoerience!!

This was a highlight of our trip! To get to see Pompeii with Sonia, was wonderful. She was so knowledgeable and really helped us understand what we were looking at and how things were at the time before the ash fell. Lunch was delicious, and the wines kept flowing! Horseback riding through vineyards was a unique experience. The guides stayed with us and the horses were so well behaved (well, Claire tried to snack on grape leaves every chance she got!) and we felt comfortable the entire time. The views were exquisite!!

Had a great tour with Giovanni! I was worried because it was raining the morning of our tour, but Giovanni opted to push the tour back an hour to accommodate the weather and his confidence reassured me. That was a good decision on his part, and the tour turned out great! Weather was sunny and perfect! Giovanni led a great tour of the coast, and even booked me a beachfront table at a restaurant along the way! Would def recommend this company for anyone looking for a reliable boat captain with great communication, and just an awesome guide
