Hoi Hoi Hoi… thank you Henri
This cooking class was fun and energetic. Hari was our instructor and he is very good at making you feel at ease. He has lots of energy and enthusiasm. The clas was small, only 5 people and all the ingredients portioned out and presented very well. I really enjoyed this class and I also learned a lot about the history of sushi. Hoi Hou Hoi.

Rina was great!
Rina was very informative and made this class interesting and fun. Our family takes a cooking class everywhere we travel to and this one was by far our favorite. Instead of pitching in to make a large meal, everyone was able to make their own meal. Thank you Rina for your genuine love to teach others your passion for cooking.

This is a great class to take to learn how to make ramen from scratch. it is very straight forward and i am sure easy to replicate at home for I plan on doing such. Who knew making ramen noodles would be so easy and fun? Kiego (sp) is a excellent instructor and fun. I highly recommend this to anyone who is interested in making ramen.

The best foodie tour I’ve ever been on thank you Dave
This is a must do experience in Osaka. Davin was such a fantastic guide and host. He explained all the different foods and significance. He gave us some nice cultural history about life and various things in Osaka. It is a must do for anyone going to Osaka.

AWESOME! Would highly recommend!
This was an amazing experience! My partner and I ended up having an unintentional "private" lesson since we went on a Tuesday around 2pm on one of the rainiest days of our Osaka trip. Mayuko and Haruna were both wonderful hosts and were very informative and funny about the mochi experience. We even got to pound the actual mochi and got to enjoy the "fruits of our labor". Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a unique experience and to learn more about mochi and its rich history!

Fun, delicious, informative!
This class was super fun, the instructor spoke English plenty well and had a wonderful personality. The food was delicious and, unlike other cooking classes I’ve taken before, I will actually be trying them again when I get home. I have some food allergies and the instructor was very careful and made sure everything was safe. My partner and I had lovely conversation with the other couple taking the class. Definitely worth the time and money; come hungry!

We had an absolutely...
We had an absolutely fantastic time at the sushi masterclass! Our group of 9 people thoroughly enjoyed every single moment of the experience. The instructor was engaging, and the step-by-step guidance made making sushi feel simple and incredibly fun. Everything from the fresh ingredients to the lively atmosphere was perfect, and all of us walked away with great new culinary skills and full stomachs. It was highly organized and accommodated our entire group beautifully, making it an unforgettable experience that we will definitely recommend to all our friends!

A treasure
I considered doing the tea ceremony at a ‘big name hotel’ but it was booked and boy am I glad it was! I believe that fate allowed me to join this great group of diverse people for a very intimate and educational experience. My husband had zero interest in tea ceremonies so I went alone. I felt very safe and comfortable. I tend to get lost easily so my husband and I scouted out the location the night before. It is probably easy to find for normal people but as I said I get lost easily so I was glad we did the dry run. Our instructor was so gracious and did everything possible to ensure everyone was comfortable. I learned a lot and feel like I learned more in this smaller setting than I would have at the brand hotel ceremony. Our instructor talked a lot about the day to day life of people in her neighborhood and how the tea ceremony education starts very early. She also talked about how it is ever evolving. Her knowledge was vast and fascinating. The tea was delicious as were the treats. And there was opportunity to purchase some items to take with you. I loved this experience and would highly recommend it.

Great start of our holiday
We got a lovely introduction in the Osaka food culture and tried some dishes we would not have found otherwise. Our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. After the food market she also showed parts of the surrounding area, so we got a few pointers for further exploration of Osaka.

Awesome way to see the city
Joel was fantastic! Very knowledgeable and great with my 11 year old son’s questions. We saw so much and we were able to start our trip with key knowledge. He had great restaurants to recommend as well. A highlight of our trip was when an elderly Japanese women came over to say hello to us, she was curious about our family, and we had a lovely conversation.

Unmissable peek into tea ceremony culture
Our teacher, Sayaka, was so lovely! This was such a meaningful and exciting class for someone who has been a fan of matcha for many years now (I’m a massive tea head!) I really enjoyed the mini ceremony and the sweets, and Sayaka was so engaging and bubbly, thank you so much!
I also went on my own because my partner doesn’t like tea, and the group setting was very warm and easy to get along with! Highly recommend for everyone!

Go karting with Yuma was the best experience!
Yuma was an incredible tour guide for our go kart experience! He was super kind, patient and helpful. He constantly checked in with us while we were at the red lights to make sure everyone in the group was okay. He took some really great pictures of our group as well as some really awesome videos in our go karts. We would definitely recommend this experience to anyone who is interested!
