This was so much fun! Our instructors were kind and efficient and helped us understand customs, and rational for why we needed to do things a specific way. We appreciated their clear guidance and had a lot of fun! Although we aren't a fan of fish, the ramen base fish/chicken was good and our gyozas turned out just like the restaurants!

Excellent cooking class- best we have done in Japan. Very efficient and teaching experience. You can also purchase some supplies at the end like garlic grater or cooking chopsticks so can be a nice souvenir.
Please was easy to find- Marina and Kasa were so nice!!!! We were a group of 3 plus 4 more participants so a total of 7 but we did not feel rushed and food was delicious! Try not to eat lunch before!

We had a great time. My husband and 12 yo who don’t normally cook, thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. The chefs were wonderful and very accommodating with my son’s food allergies so he didn’t have to miss out. Would highly recommend this experience, very intimate and fun! We certainly my left with our bellies full!

We finished up cooking at about 3:30, so if you’ll be starving then you can eat a small lunch first.

This was such an amazing experience! The mentors were friendly, organized, appreciative, supportive. This was a super easy class to follow, we were given step by step instructions through the whole process. The mentors were amazing at showing us all the ingredients, things that we could use in our own countries in place of things they had here. It was neat to learn about the different types of fish flakes like bento, to the different types of soya sauce and what the difference was between the two to the types of miso and why they are different. I highly recommend this talented group of ladies for an amazing experience you don’t want to miss.

Fun and interesting experience. You will be cooking quite a bit and especially making the noodles yourself from scratch is really fun. Eating your own creation and noticing how good it actually is, is quite fulfilling!

Our instructors were warm and friendly throughout the preparation and cooking. Everything was well organised in order to create the most seamless and successful food. The instructors also attended to our dietry needs. Trying to find the location was confusing and perhaps a small note on the apartment building would have been helpful. Overall it was fun to cook something authentically Japanese...and it was even better to eat our delicious food!

I highly recommend this cooking class. We had so much fun. Miki and Jun were excellent teachers, very patient and perfect English. The food was delicious. My only problem was in putting Sun Cooking in my Google maps it took me to the wrong place. As I have found true all over Japan, all I had to do was ask a local standing nearby and he called someone to walk us the 8 blocks to the correct location. I love Japan. Note, if you are walking put the actual address in your map not Sun Cooking.

Our Chef was very friendly and welcoming. Flawless English based on her longstanding engagement in Canada and Europe. The venue is located in a residential area, the kitchen is clean, well equipped and modern. The instructions were easy to follow and the gyoza and the ramen were very authentic and yummy. We can recommend the course with no hesitation.

We had an amazing time and I 100% recommend booking this experience. It takes place in a big appartement and everything is extremely clean and organized. We had 2 teachers working together for a group of 8. They would take the time to explain all the ingredients and the step by step process.
We made the ramen from scratch (fish and chicken stock and noodles) with different toppings. We also made the chicken gyoza filling (chopped up all the ingredients) and folded them with premade wrappers. They give you a handout with the recipes that you can bring back home which is very appreciated.

We did a lot in the time alotted -not to mention eating our delicious creations! It was fun, entertaining and delightful as well. Both of our instructors did an excellent job of explaining and keeping it moving as there were many steps.
