Review for our cooking class with Yuka We had an amazing 4-hour cooking experience with our wonderful guide and instructor, Yuka. The day started with a visit to a local supermarket, where Yuka showed and explained so many interesting things — not only related to our cooking class, but also about Japanese food culture and daily life. Afterwards, we went to the kitchen studio and cooked together. On the menu were Okonomiyaki, Nikusui (beef soup), and Yaki-Gyoza (dumplings) — all absolutely delicious! Yuka is an excellent cook who knows exactly what she’s doing and explains everything clearly and patiently, making it easy to follow along. Beyond the cooking, we had great conversations and lots of fun together. Yuka is such a kind, warm, and friendly person — it truly felt like spending time with a friend. This was an unforgettable experience and one of the absolute highlights of our trip. Thank you, Yuka, for this wonderful experience!

Mari was so great explaining what to shop for when making the different recipes. It was a hands on experience for everyone and the food turned out delicious!! We enjoyed the saki tasting too! It was fun and memorable experience!!
