Mochi making was fun for the entire family! My two teenage daughters and husband all say the experience was one of the highlights of our trip. Our hosts were incredibly friendly and shared all things mochi with us. At the end you get to taste the fruits of your labor.

This was a great activity for a rainy day. We already loved mochi, so we didn’t expect to learn so much. It was a fun and tasty activity! Come hungry!

This is a fun activity for a family with children. Our family had a lot of fun!
Coming from Hawaii and knowing a little bit about mochi made the “hands on” experience more meaningful since we don’t see too many families pound mochi anymore.

This was a great experience to do with your family. My family and I really enjoyed our Mochi Making experience. I have young kids (6 and 5) and they loved participating and trying all the flavors of mochi. We were very impressed.

Such a fun experience to mix and pound mochi. The staff shared a short history of mochi, we pounded yelling yo shoi and then enjoyed the mochi with 8 options. Staff was great!

So much fun! Well organized, great communication & you get to taste the mochi you create. Had two 70yr grandparents & 17yr teenager participate, everyone left smiling. They provide wonderful instruction, with more mochi than you can eat at the end. It took approximately 45min to complete. Great quick activity.
