We had such a fun time at this Sushi making class near Dotonbori! The instructors were friendly, patient and made the whole experience easy to follow, even for us beginners! They made this experience fun, relaxed and enjoyable. Everything was well organised and the ingredients lovely and fresh. Plus getting to eat what we made at the end was the best part! We highly recommend this experience if your looking for something fun and unique to do in Osaka 🍣

What a fantastic experience! We thoroughly enjoyed our sushi-making class today with Lala and Ayu. Both teachers were incredibly welcoming, knowledgeable, and patient, making the whole experience fun, engaging, and easy to follow. They explained each step clearly, shared fascinating insights into Japanese food culture, and created a relaxed atmosphere where everyone felt comfortable. The ingredients were fresh, the instruction was excellent, and it was so rewarding to create and enjoy our own sushi for lunch. Lala and Ayu’s enthusiasm and passion for what they do truly shone through and made the class memorable. We would highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Osaka who wants a hands-on cultural activity and a deeper appreciation of Japanese cuisine. If you're a sushi lover and want to learn how to make your own sushi rolls and nigiri in a super fun atmosphere, then you definitely need to book this activity if you're here in Osaka. Our class was primarily taught by Koh and he was FANTASTIC! Just a really nice, funny guy and so entertaining. The rest of the team also, they were friendly and personable. The class itself is informative, like the history of sushi and we got to learn some Japanese words. The sushi was pretty delicious too and they use good ingredients. The place is nice, clean, and welcoming, just overall a wonderful experience.

A Fun and Family‑Friendly Sushi Class

Our instructor, Lala, was incredibly sweet and a fantastic teacher. My family, including our two young children and even our five‑year‑old, was able to follow her step‑by‑step guidance and successfully make both a maki roll and some nigiri. The kids especially enjoyed the simple flavours of the nigiri, and it was lovely to see them so excited to eat what they’d made. The only challenge was finding the location. Both Apple Maps and Google Maps directed us to a different spot on the same block, so we initially approached from the wrong street. Including a photo of the building exterior in the instructions would make it much easier for guests to find the right place.

Fuko was an absolutely amazing instructor. She provided a brief extensive history of sushi and was very knowledgeable and patient with the students. I am very thankful to have her as my instructor for this class. This was a first time for my son and I to take a cooking class together. I think we were fortunate enough to have gotten the perfect instructor. I highly recommend anyone who enjoys sushi or want to impress people to take this class. They will not regret the experience. She also provided humor which kept everyone engaged.

If you love sushi and want to learn how to make your own, this class is a must. It was a fun time and a great experience for the price, a good amount of sushi is made (1 maki roll and about 4-8 nigiri depending on how fast you go)
