What are people saying about Normandy

An excellent tour to see all of the highlights
Ruby was an excellent tour guide for the day; she was informative, friendly, she gave us loads of interesting information and she listened to our questions. Shanghai is vast and this would have taken us so much longer to navigate our way from A2B. It was a really great way to see all of Shanghai highlights in a one day visit, when we were short on time. And lunch included was delicious!

Go, learn, appreciate!
Van was full, 8 fit comfortably. Our driver and guide Amélie, was smart, cool, friendly, everything you want your guide to be. The mic system wasn’t great; it was difficult between her accented English and surrounding traffic to hear and/or understand her. I’m somewhat familiar with French, but the other 2 passengers (my husband and another man) couldn’t decipher almost anything she was saying as we drove. However, her on-site was perfect, she was just delightful to spend the day with.

Great trip with Herve
We are so glad we had a private guide, Herve, who was an encyclopedia of knowledge. It’s a long day but extremely interesting and informative. If possible, get to the beaches at low tide so that you can see the wide beach that the soldiers and equipment had to cross. At high tide there is no sand visible

Wonderful B of B tour is a must
So profound, so moving and so enlightening! Remy was the PERFECT guide with such passion and knowledge about the subject and the men of Easy Company/101st Airborne et al. If you read the book and/or watched the series, and you then stood on the hallowed ground of these ordinary men who took extraordinary measures, it was so moving. Remy shared such memorable stories. I highly recommend this tour.

The northern region of Normandy is one of France’s most emblematic, boasting centuries of history, iconic cuisine, and a rich tapestry of cultural heritage. Visiting the D-Day Landing Beaches and World War II sites rank among the most popular Normandy tours, but guided visits can also add depth when checking off must-sees like the Bayeux Tapestry and the Mont St Michel monastery. Beyond the headline acts, exploring Normandy like a local means embracing the slower pace of life: explore the countryside by e-bike or sidecar, stop for a cider tasting amid the orchards, or stroll the waterfront of Honfleur or Deauville.
