Excellent tour. Worth every Euro! We contacted the tour company beforehand to customize the tour which made it more pertinent to our interest. Anne-Sophie was extremely knowledgeable about the sites we visited. There wasn't a question she couldn't answer - and we asked plenty! She had maps and pictures to supplement the information. She was extremely patient while we took pictures and looked around. She gave us plenty of bathroom breaks. She was a competent driver. It was much easier having someone who knew where they were going do the driving. We couldn't have been happier with this tour and would highly recommend it!

Stood me up! Had a confirm and booked tour, plus a barcode ticket. They had accepted payment. But nobody showed up day of and Viator tells me they had no room. Beware!

Our guide Sophie was excellent. From the German cemetery to the American cemetery and many points in between, she brought D-Day to life with photos, maps, and detailed descriptions. Great energy. Loved spending the day with her.

Being in Normandy for the 70th Anniversary of D-Day was the goal. The amount of traffic and restricted space not withstanding, we say some amazing things. We saw some of the key landmarks, some ceremonies, and experienced some veterans returning to the site of modern history’s most important day.

Jonathan gave us a great tour. He has an amazing knowledge of history and gave us numerous options for customizing our tour. The WWII sites were very moving. The Cathedral in Bayeux and tapestry were amazing. Our only regret is that we did not have time for a second day with Jonathan.

We had a great tour of Normandy and the major World War II sites! Our guide was very knowledgeable and gave us great information on all the sites, a lot we had never heard. He also took us to a fantastic place to eat, food was delicious! Our kids had fun as well discovering bunkers and running on the beach!

He is a local, deeply proud of his heritage and is a great people person. A day spent with him will feel like 5 minutes - time flies when you're having fun. He's a great ambassador for France and represents the region with exuberance, honesty, and humor. He will take you to places out of the beaten path unlike the public tours and can customize your itinerary based on your interests.
