Our tour guide, Juliette, was excellent. She made sure we saw all the key sites, she was knowledgeable and a very skilled story teller. This tour was one of the top highlights of our two week trip between NW France and London.

The backseat of the Mercedes minivan was almost unbearably hot. I asked twice for it to be cooler and still it was uncomfortable.

Theo was our guide for this tour. There were six people in our van (plus Theo), which was very comfortable seating. Theo spoke very well- loud enough, distinct, and in good/understandable English. Theo really knew his history of WWII, and explained it all very well. He drove us straight away to Pont du Hoc, then the American Cemetery, and finally, Omaha Beach. We walked around each place on our own, with agreed meeting spots at a certain time. As a bonus, we drove past a British Cemetery on our way back to the meeting spot.

We were the only two to sign up for the tour so basically got a private tour. Lou was very knowledgeable and fun. Omaha Beach is an amazing sight as well as the American Cemetery. I highly recommend this tour.

Our tour guide, Paschal, was very pleasant and knowledgeable about the sites. He gave a great overview of each site as well as some personal stories of some of the fallen and their families. He also had pictures to show us. Most of all, we really appreciate his patience with our 88 year old dad who Is losing his eye sight and has difficulty walking.

Matt went above and beyond all of our expectations in every way. His historical and military knowledge of D-Day is absolutely incredible, the result of interviews with first-hand witnesses - including Normandy locals and D-Day veterans - and rigorous academic study. It isn't all facts and figures, though. Matt's tour brings a very Human perspective of D-Day through masterful storytelling giving an immersive experience we've never seen anywhere else. The tour is clearly years in the making, and we are so proud that Matt continues his pursuit to keep our shared History of defending Freedom alive.

Our guide Pascal had an encyclopedic knowledge of his material and brought it alive. His background gave him insight into the problems faced by the troops and what a monumental achievement it was, against stiff odds. He was patient and had a sense of humor. My only regret is that T did a half and not full day, but even half was far better than no tour at all!

I can’t say enough good things about our guide, Valentin. He was very knowledgeable and passionate about the events and places and described them in a witty and entertaining way. I consider myself fairly knowledgeable about the D-Day landings, but I learned many new things from him. Going to Omaha Beach and the American Cemetery were bucket list items for my wife and me for a long time and we’re so glad that we had Valentin to make it come alive for us.
