It was a wonderful emotional experience. Very informative and impactful. Our tour guide Bert was so knowledgeable and friendly.
This was a wonderful experience. Our tour guide Bert’s knowledge of the Normandy invasion was very impressive. We learned so much on this tour. Our bus driver J.P. was outstanding.
Such an amazing experience but also sobering to see Omaha, the German cemetary and the American cemetery. Bert, our tour guide was a wealth of knowledge , his narrative was so thorough and I learned so much amazing facts. He gave us personal stories about some of the soldiers. Lunch was delicious.JP our driver got us through terrible traffic in one piece and we were back to the ship in plenty of time. Don't miss this tour
We had the most amazing experience at Normandy with Maja as our tour guide!! She was absolutely fantastic and such a great story teller. She was very very knowledgeable and mad our experience incredible. We visited the German burial site, Normandy beach and finally the American burial site. It was a very long day but an excellent day off the ship seeing these sites. And they had us back in plenty of time for our sailing. I definitely recommend this shore excursion and hopefully you will get Maja. She is fantastic and really cares about her group having an extraordinary day!!
It was on our “bucket list “ for a long time. So glad we finally got to do it. Our guide “Ash” was amazing. Knows more about the invasion than anyone I have ever met. Also filled us in about local history along the way to the beaches.
This tour was truly amazing and deeply moving. From the La Cambe German War Cemetery and Omaha Beach to the Normandy American Cemetery and Memorial and the German fortifications at Pointe du Hoc, every stop brought the history of D-Day to life.
Standing in these places, you could feel the immense valor, sacrifice, and courage of the Allied forces. It was both humbling and unforgettable to witness the sites where so much was given for freedom.
This is a tour that will stay with me forever. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to experience and better understand the history, sacrifice, and significance of Normandy.
We booked this tour because the cruise ship’s excursion had already sold out, and we were also happy to find that this tour was less expensive. We were very pleased with our decision!
Our tour guide, Sam, was excellent. He was extremely knowledgeable about Normandy and did a wonderful job explaining the events leading up to, during, and following D-Day. His knowledge and storytelling really brought the history to life and made the experience both educational and memorable.
The tour was very well organized and ran right on time. As cruise passengers, we especially appreciated that we returned to the ship with plenty of time before departure, which made the day completely stress-free.
VEXPERIO also did a great job with communication. They provided clear instructions on where to meet, and they had staff members outside the terminal to guide us to the bus, making the meeting process easy and straightforward.
Overall, this was an excellent tour and a great value. We would highly recommend VEXPERIO to anyone visiting Normandy, especially fellow cruise passengers looking for a well-organized and informative Normandy tour.

This tour was wonderful. It is a long tour only because our port was so far away. Our tour guide Sam was one of the best tour guides we have ever had. He was articulate, knowledgeable and easy to hear and understand. The lunch that was provided was very nice.

We’re glad to hear you enjoyed the tour with Ash and appreciated his knowledge and friendly approach.
As this is a bus tour, some walking is unfortunately necessary at the different stops. We always park as close to the sights as possible, but parking areas are not always right next to the sites, and some walking may be required to reach them. Some locations also involve uneven or rough terrain.
We understand that walking can be challenging for some guests, and while we always do our best to minimize it, we cannot completely eliminate it during a full-day Normandy D-Day tour.

Burt did a great job educating us about World War II and how the war impacted Normandy. Burt's love for history and commitment to learning was evident.
As an US Army veteran, I didn't know what to expect. The tour hit all of the high points. We did not feel rushed at the scheduled stops which allowed Burt to educate us and then we had enough time to explore individual interests.
Highly recommend this tour!
A moving experience. Cemeteries were beautifully manicured and stunning. Stories by those who lived through it were heart wrenching.
Our guide was very knowledgeable but his French accent made it difficult to understand everything he told us. He also did not project his voice well, so I some of what he said. I also did not think he was dressed appropriately for his role. Too casual. Not professional.

Our guide, Sam, was so knowledgeable and seemed truly invested in the topic. He presented so much information and respect for the topic and wanted to share.

Our tour guide Thelma was so knowledgeable and kind. She took us through the history leading up to D Day and taught us many things we did not know.
This is a full day experience. We were picked up right at our ship. The guide, Sam, was extremely knowledgeable. He used the travel time to the beaches for a history lesson leading up to WWII. Having known someone who was wounded at St. Lo, this was a very meaningful visit for us. Recommend very highly. We returned in plenty of time before the gangway went up.
Loved this. We found the guide extremely knowledgeable and friendly. He kept us on schedule and gave us plenty of time to explore on our own.
Maja did a wonderful job! She gave us history on each stop in between during the drive. Our snack was local, Normandy food. She was extremely knowledgeable and engaging with everyone! I recommend this excursion!
Getting to see such historic sites was truly humbling. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and made the time traveling to and from the D-Day sites fly by. Note that some of the bunkers that you'll visit can be challenging for those who are claustrophobic or have difficulty being in large crowds.
This tour was a nice pace. We saw everything we wanted to see. Ash, our tour guide was excellent very informative. Gave us a lot of history spoke excellent English.
Multi-generational family experience and everyone loved it. I would highly recommend and back to the ship on time!
