Fantastic tour - a must see!!
We went to Giverny in April when all the flowers were in bloom and it was just gorgeous. The tour was very well done – the bus was beautiful and clean and the tour guides were amazing and gave us all kinds of really interesting information on the ride there. We enjoyed it greatly. My only advice is that if you spend a lot of time in the house in gardens, there’s not much time to get food so getting a Takeaway sandwich or something is probably best.

Beautiful drive to Giverny and Rose was a wonderful guide through the countryside. Monet gardens and home was spectacular. The walk through Rouen was great too. Highly recommend it and recommend Rose as your guide.

Good Option to See Fantastic Place
I was glad I purchased direct transportation to Giverny. This tour was quick and convenient and the guide provided some interesting information on the bus ride over. The self-guided tour with the app was perfectly sufficient. 2 hours was a perfect amount of time for me given the crowds — just note that during peak season, when the lines are even longer, you may feel rushed.

The entire tour was great, amazing, and very engaging. My guide Karim was very energetic and enthusiastic about explaining the stories and the relevant histories. He helped understand the things about Giverny and Auvers sur Oise. The tour presented me a memorable experience. Whether you are an art-enthusiast or not, I strongly recommend.

People walking between green plants at Giverny during daytime, Paris
  • A Giverny tour is ideal for art enthusiasts, especially impressionism fans.

  • The journey to Giverny, along the banks of the Seine River and through the sunflower fields of Normandy, is almost as good as the destination.

  • There are no ATMs or currency exchange bureaus in the village, so be sure to bring cash.

  • Although hotels are available, the village's small size means availability is limited, so most people visit on day trips from Paris. Make sure to book in advance if you plan on staying overnight.

  • Giverny and Monet's Garden are partly accessible for wheelchair users although Monet's House is not.
