Excellent Experience for quick half day tour!
The experience was fantastic! Antoine got very detailed which I wanted and answered all my questions about D-day the players, battles, weapons and impact it had on the men who fought as well as the macro picture of the war. His politeness, knowledge and enthusiasm was top notch! I would recommend this tour for casual observers or big time WW2 buffs.

A great way to experience D Day events on Utah, Gold, and the American cemetery
No other words than AMAZING! A private tour via motorcycle/sidecar made this adventure beyond words can even describe. Touring the countryside less travelled by tourists allowed one to understand the vast landscape covered by ground our troops endured. The detailed explanations of each days events during the invasion was to perfection. As we travelled with two teenagers it even kept them alive!!

Great tour company and excellent English speaking tour guide
Our tour guide, Paschal, was very pleasant and knowledgeable about the sites. He gave a great overview of each site as well as some personal stories of some of the fallen and their families. He also had pictures to show us. Most of all, we really appreciate his patience with our 88 year old dad who Is losing his eye sight and has difficulty walking.

Trip to Normandy is Very Worthwhile!
We rented a car in Paris and drove to Bayeaux, where our tour group met. It was about a three hour drive, but the highway is modern, mostly flat and straight.
In Bayeaux, our guide, Philippe, drove our small group to Sword Beach (British sector) and to Omaha Beach (American sector). Philippe spoke good English, but his French accent gave his presentation an air of authenticity. Philippe was very knowledgeable about the events leading up to and on June 6, 1944. But he went beyond that, and as we visited the American cemetery atop the cliffs, he shared many stories that reflected the human side of the German, American and French elements that came together during those days. As a retired History teacher, I had high expectations for this tour, and those expectations were well met. Highly recommend!

Outstanding Tour
Fantastic tour…Helene, our guide for the day was amazing! She was so knowledgeable, happy, and enthusiastic about giving us a very comprehensive account of all the happenings on 6 June 1944! Our visit to Ste Mere-Église, Ponte du Hoc, the Landing Beaches - Utah and Omaha, and to the American Cemetery were all quite moving as we relived the landings and all that our Boys (US), not to forget the Brits and Canadians who landed at Gold, Juno and Sword (we did not visit these 3 beaches on this tour) went through just trying to make it ashore and capture the beachhead for follow on troops…WOW! Highly recommend this tour and if you get Helene as your guide, well you are lucky…she is great!

Great way to explores Normandy
This was such a wonderful experience, I would love to recommend to anyone who wants to enjoy Bayeux countryside. It’s not physically challenging as I thought. Rather very relaxing and manageable ride. Our tour guide Theo was very nice and knowledgeable about the D-day and Normandy . We rode around the area and learned about the history. I cried at the Normandy memorial site. What a tour!

Highly recommend the tour & our guide ROMA
Our English guide Roma was excellent! She was very knowledgeable and knew how to tell the complex history in a way that was easy to understand. She was not only a great communicator but also a very friendly and lovely person! She drove us to places that would be hard to navigate on our own. I highly recommend Roma and the D-day tour.

A Great Stop
Many people go to Paris at this stop, but we’ve been there many times and preferred to stay more local. This tour met all of our needs, showing off some beautiful local towns. Our guide, Bastien, was easy to understand, friendly, and overall very helpful. While these two towns were mostly to be explored on our own, Bastien gave good advice about what we could do in our (unfortunately) limited time. Overall, we were very happy to have taken this tour.

Great Tour, but ...
Very enjoyable and informative tour. I learned numerous things I was not previously aware of. Guide Jeremy was a pleasure to follow on tour. He took us to an additional site not originally on the itinerary. Only recommendation would be to provide less time for lunch, and more time at the American Cemetary.

Wonderful tour
This was a fantastic tour and our guide Miriam was wonderful. She allowed adequate time at each site to explore and explained the history of the area and what happened during D-Day really well. We didn’t have a lot of time to spend in the area, but thought this tour gave us quite a bit of perspective on the D-Day invasion. Would definitely recommend this tour.

Highlight of our trip - highly recommend for anyone visiting Paris and looking for a beautiful trip outside of the city
This tour and our guide were amazing! I can’t say enough about how great the tour was - the hotel pickup was convenient, and our tour guide Anne Laure was the BEST. She was so knowledgeable and kind and guided us through the beautiful Monet house and gardens, and it was the perfect balance of guided tour and some pre-planned time for us to explore on our own. The timing was perfect and our guide was able to get us in without waiting in any serious lines, which had formed after we entered. I appreciated the insights on Monet and her thoughtfulness on timing of which parts of the tour to conduct first. She also showed us some beautiful French countryside scenery on the drive home The whole group agreed this tour was the highlight of our trip - would definitely recommend for those visiting Paris and looking for a beautiful trip just outside the city. Thank you Anne Laure for being such an insightful and thoughtful guide!

Beautiful Trip
It was a great trip through Normandy. We saw so many amazing sites, learned a lot of history, climbed in bunkers, walked in cemeteries, walked on the beaches, asked questions, and really enjoyed our time with Wally. We are very happy we chose this adventure, and it was a day well spent.

Not seeing something you are looking for?
Normandy is home to iconic medieval monuments, World War II battle sites, and picturesque beach resorts, but with limited time, it’s best to focus on the highlights. Normandy half-day tours are an ideal choice for time-crunched travelers, but they are also a great way to get to know a city better or enjoy a memorable activity. Inject fun into your trip by opting for a unique transport method, such as a sidecar, WWII-era Jeep, or an e-bike. Combine a sightseeing tour with a cider tasting at a local winery, or join friends for an exciting scavenger hunt.
