After disembarking, please remain inside the cruise terminal. Our representative will meet you holding a “Normandy Private Tours” sign and escort you to the bus. Please do not exit the terminal, as it may be difficult for our team to locate you outside. Your licensed guide will be waiting onboard.

- Group size: This is a shared group excursion with up to 25 fellow cruise passengers.
- Lunch on board: As part of your shore excursion, enjoy a delicious lunch with a freshly made French sandwich from a local Le Havre bakery, bottled water, and a sweet treat (seasonal apple or yogurt). A relaxed and satisfying break that both adults and children will love. Please let us know of any dietary needs (vegetarian, gluten-free, etc.) at least 72 hours before the tour so we can accommodate you.
- Easy booking confirmation: You’ll receive confirmation right away. If you book within 9 days of your tour date, final confirmation will be sent within 48 hours (subject to availability).
- Cruise-friendly schedule: The tour is designed to match your ship’s arrival and departure times from Le Havre, so you can relax and enjoy without worrying about missing the ship.

Philip was incredibly knowledgeable and we had a great tour. My only suggestion is that the tour says 830 but the email the company sent said 800. Some on the tour didn’t get the email so we were a little late. But highly recommend!

What a wonderful day with our driver, Sache, and our guide, Elise, in Normandy from our cruise ship. Sache was right on time to pick us up from the cruise terminal. We picked up our guide close to Normandy. Elise was bright, enthusiastic, knowledgeable and fun to be with. We visited the German Cemetery, the American Cemetery, Pont du Hoc, Omaha Beach, Gold Beach with the remnants of the Mulberry Docks, a German gun battery with the guns still in place and at the end a Commonwealth (British and Canadian) Cemetery. Elise had numerous photos and information to highlight every site. We dropped Elise in Bayeaux and Sache had us back to the ship right on time. This was a great day. We received what we paid for and it was worth the expense.

The points of interest were excellent. Better organization at bus pick up would have helped make the day more pleasant. It took nearly 30 minutes for everyone to find the Viator representative and bus. Our tour guide Philip, who was very knowledgeable, rushed us at Omaha Beach, giving us 20 minutes to eat lunch and take pictures. Also, we were under the impression that we would be stopping at the Normandy museum which didn't happen.

Our tour guide was great! He knew all the behind scenes information. Our bus driver was great! This tour covered Pont du Loc, Omaha Beach (2 stops), and the American Cemetery. Great tour!

Our tour guide was Polly. She was horrible with details of the tour. Not informative at all. She should not be doing this tour. The worst tour we had with Viator, and we have taken plenty. The tour was great, but not the tour guide.

The sites themselves were moving and worth the trip. The tour guide, Polly, was underwhelming. I'll prepared and couldn't handle simple questions like

Wonderful service directly to our cruise ship. Got to see the major sights of Omaha Beach, American Cemetery and Pont du hoc. Lunch was good and we were able to sit right at the beach for our picnic lunch. Peace of mind that we would get back to our ship before sailing. Guide was pleasant and friendly but didn't lead group and left us wandering and guessing at times.

I learned many more important strategic plans and weather decisions, and the huge numerous logistical issues impacting the final. Phillip added great detail through photos, maps and "simple to complex" storytelling. Best guide on over 94-cruises.
